Tea Time Cafe (Hammond) — Restaurant in Hammond

I’m posting 5 stars simply so I don’t hurt their rating. But sadly I’ve been quite disappointed lately. I usually order a brown sugar boba with tapioca pearls… what I think is a pretty common drink. And I’m only able to order it maybe 1 out of every 5 times I’ve entered in the last year. I’ve tried at different times of the day and different days of the week. I can’t seem to crack the code. It’s gotten to where when I walk in, one of the ladies that works there just straight up says they’re out. She already knows. I’ll keep trying but sadly I don’t stop in as often anymore simply because it’s usually a waste of time. They’re going to be out. Super friendly staff and great owner though. My girls turned me on to this place. They had to try boba tea. I had heard of it but had no desire to be part of a "current trend," not my style. Well they talked me into it and I have to say we go every time they ask(if we are close) I've tried a few different combinations and even the almond milk and lemon boba wasn't bad. I wouldn't order that, but the little one didn't like it, and I wasn't wasting a 7$ drink. Next time she got the oreo shake and it was very delicious. I wanted a quick boba tea on the way from work, Tea Time Cafe popped up in my Maps as the closet boba shop in Hammond. So I took a chance on trying this location, and I'm happy to say I was not disappointed!
