Waffle House — Restaurant in Hammond

They deserve 0 stars. Just left after 10 to 15 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge us since we were ignored as we came in, but they were too busy chatting, looking at their phones and to add to the insult they rather start an argument with a returning customer when she came back because was served the wrong order (which they new since they were looking at her before she entered the store and were talking about giving her the wrong waffle order) than to acknowledge a new customer & clear a table that was visibly empty for a long time. I love WH but this store is your WORST. Management needs to send someone here incognito. This stained the high standards we had for WH and will definitely not...

Profiled as Homeless!!! TWICE! Service here can be awful, Depending on which servers are working of course. I'm guessing because i ride a bicycle and had on old work clothes (basketball shorts, t shirt, steel toed sketchers, and a yellow do-rag on my head) they thought i couldnt pay. Definitely didnt receive a warm welcome as i entered. Instead of the usual 'welcome, sit where u like' i got asked if i was ordering something in a scolding manner. Asked for a coffee and a coke that took literally 10 minutes to get either of them...had to grab my own menu and ask THEM to take my order. THIS AT 5AM WITH NO OTHER CUSTOMERS!!! But i STILL tipped +30%..we'll see if i get a different experience...

This location was new for us..It was absolutely filthy, the only reason for any stars is because the waitress Star was a good server.The rest of staff was just sitting in the booths horse playing an chatting.The waitress had to ask repeatedly for someone to get up an make meals! It was unbelievable! The food we did eat was ok (bacon burnt badly bread was old.)The cooking area was gross old food every where! Dishes dirty with food stuck on them we couldn't even eat comfortably knowing how dirty( asked for plastics an to go cups which she said they were out of!) Needless to say we won't go back to this location !!! They need to fire an try again this crew was literally just...
