UPDATE: I tried calling, twice they hung up on me without my call ever going through. I'll be putting a call into corporate now, because this is NOT how you treat customers. UPDATE 2: I contacted corporate. The woman from corporate was appalled by the images I sent her. I'm currently waiting to hear back from them about a refund. The woman from corporate who is helping me seems very kind and polite - however my opinion on this specific cracker barrel hasn't changed as the store itself has not even attempted to answer phone calls or reach out to me to make anything right. UPDATE 3: Corporate tells me I need to get the refund from Waitr. Waitr tells me I need to get it from Cracker Barrel. The store won't answer calls. This is beyond ridiculous. Don't order from here through waitr. UPDATE 4: Store manager FINALLY got on the phone and refused to give me the refund because she claims it needs to go through the app. She also flat out lied to me and tried to tell me the meat is cooked. It was not. It was cooked until we reached the MIDDLE of the meat. Corporate confirmed that uncooked meatloaf is NOT a first time complaint for this specific store. If your meatloaf is SO DISGUSTING LOOKING that it looks uncooked then maybe your cooks are doing something VERY wrong ORIGINAL REVIEW: I'll be calling in the morning and depending on the stores response, I may alter my review - but as of right now, I just ordered from this store on Waitr. My order was chicken n' dumplings with two dumplings for sides and broccoli, for my mother I ordered meatloaf with two sides of mashed potatoes and a side of cole slaw. The cole slaw was forgotten. My chicken n' dumplings had -two- pieces of small chicken in it, the dumplings were all mush. One of the sides literally only had -two- pieces of dumplings. They also tasted spoiled, like they had been sitting out for awhile. My guess is it was late and I was scooped out the last bit they had instead of them making fresh. If that was the case, if I ordered to late, the restaurant should have 100% called and told me. I would have canceled the order/ordered elsewhere. My mothers meatloaf seemed fine until she got to the middle, where it started looking VERY pink and almost as if it had UNCOOKED bits in it. I've eaten here before and never had this kind of food given to me and it makes me question whether or not I will ever eat here again. Pictures included.

The restrooms were very clean. The store was clean, and the restaurant was clean. They greeted us when we entered. We were seated immediately and our order was taken. Customer service was poor and I mean poor. We got our drinks and I ordered and half and half tea, which was awful. After about 10 minutes the waitress passed our table and my husband asked if I could just change it out for a coke, she said yes. We asked for biscuits and gravy when we first ordered, and we had to wait until our order came out. We waited for our food for about 25 minutes. And at no point in that wait did we get a refill. My two children had water and they didn’t even get more water. Finally the food came out, and we had to ask for the biscuits and gravy again. We got 4 biscuits and gravy. The waitress never came back to the table. I looked around several times and she was standing directly behind us by the entrance to the kitchen. She never once refilled our drinks. I finally turned around and she came back to the table and asked if she could remove the empty plates. At that time we asked for to go boxes, bottled syrup, and to go drinks for my husband and myself. She came back with two bottles of syrup and two to go boxes and no drinks. We waited for about 5 more minutes and we knew the to go drinks were not coming. We got up, went purchased something from the gift shop, paid our bill, and exited the store. This was the worst customer service that I have ever had at any Cracker Barrel. She wasn’t friendly, and we had to ask her for things she should have been asking us. If she didn’t like her job, she should get a new one. We had been gone from our home all day for a travel ball tournament and we wanted and good meal before heading home. If I could score this experience a negative 1, I would.

As an eating establishment, this is unacceptable, and no one from our party will be returning.

I like that this Cracker Barrel hasn't changed its look and kept it's overall nostalgic feel to it. I liked our server. He was very accommodating, as much as he could be, however....

These are the changes that I have a problem with.

We went to this one recently and although it was left alone with the old country feel, the menu had changed and was very disappointing. The menu had been reduced and old time favorites were removed and replaced by other menu items that were way more expensive and difficult to eat.

We traveled an hour away to get those dishes that we crave and get every time we go, but found those items had been removed from the menu. I mean.... Why remove the pot roast and force you to order another dish that you don't want? The only way I could get the roast, was to order the campfire grill roast, which was cooked differently with a bunch of vegetables that I didn't want.... corn on the cob, carrots, roasted potatoes and tomatoes.... which tasted very different than the traditional pot roast that I've been getting for decades. This new menu item, was served in a wad of aluminum foil that I had a heck of a time trying to get my meal out of in order to put it on a plate to eat. I don't want to eat my meal OUT OF A CRINKLED WAD OF TIN FOIL! I WANT TO EAT IT OFF OF PLATE LIKE MOST PEOPLE PREFER TO EAT THEIR MEAL! It was a hot mess and took 3 of us to try and maneuver the meal out of the foil onto a plate. Think I'm exaggerating??? Order it and try to do so yourself! IT IS THAT DIFFICULT! You end up making a mess and losing parts of your meal to the table.

You're also PAYING A LOT MORE FOR THIS DISH AND CAN'T EVEN PICK THE SIDES YOU WANT! YOU'RE STUCK WITH WHAT IS INSIDE THAT CHUNK OF FOIL!

All of their prices went up a lot and you can't even get what you want anymore if you choose to get roast beef. The ONLY WAY YOU CAN GET YOUR POT ROAST IS TO ORDER THE CAMPFIRE GRILL ROAST MEAL.... and if you don't like or want those sides, TOUGH TOOTIE! YOU DON'T HAVE A CHOICE! YOU GET WHAT YOU GET AND THAT'S WHAT YOU GET! NO ALTERNATIVES!

PLEASE BRING BACK THE TRADITIONAL POT ROAST AND OTHER FAVORITES THAT YOU'VE TAKEN OFF THE MENU. People come to Cracker Barrel to get they favorites, not new dishes. If you want to bring in and introduce new dishes, fine, but PLEASE DON'T REPLACE THOSE ALL TIME FAVORITES THAT HAVE BEEN PART OF YOUR MENU AND THAT PEOPLE COME IN THERE FOR! WE LOVE WHAT WE LOVE AND YOU NEED TO LEAVE IT ALONE! WE DON'T WANT CHANGES! WE LOVE THAT OLD TIME WARM COUNTRY FEELING! WE WANT TRADITION. SO PLEASE DON'T CAVE INTO THE PRESSURES OF CHANGING YOUR NOSTALGIC CHARM. KEEP IT, BUT BRING BACK OUR MENU WHICH WE...
