I know it’s a pandemic and that has been hard for local and large businesses alike, staffing and otherwise, to maintain their usual quality and hours. But I tried to go here this morning before work, it’s not close to where I live at all, and arrived a little after 8 am. Their online hours say that they are open 7 am to 8 pm, and I had tried checking all social media platforms and their website to see if they had any current changes that I should try to honor. I also had tried calling 3 times yesterday at their number listed online, no one answered and the voicemail said nothing about it being the number for the Donut Connection. However, when I arrived, they had a paper posted in the window saying that their hours are now 10 am to 8 pm. I know some businesses are used to people that live in the immediate vicinity being their only patrons but this was very frustrating for someone who went out of their way to visit them. I know I wasn’t the only one who didn’t know as well, I saw at least 3 other groups try to go to the door to find it was closed. It’s the 21st century, please post updates on the internet, it’s really...
Read moreAt 9:15am on Sunday, donut selection was very limited with little stock on shelves. There wasn't any double chocolate out so I asked the young man behind the counter if they were going to make any more and he said yes they would take about 20 minutes, so we sat there an extra 20 minutes and when we asked him if they were ready, he said no they're still making them probably another 20 minutes so I think that's just something they're trained to say if they're out of donuts cuz they figure people will leave before they have to actually make them. If you get somebody in front of you that orders a breakfast sandwich it takes so long for them to make it that potential customers walk out. The donuts are very yummy when fresh you just have make sure you come when they have a full stock. Still better than...
Read moreI love to support local businesses but unfortunately this place is failing and it’s due to poor management. It’s crazy that you go in here during prime hours - Saturday and Sunday mornings - and the shelves are not fully stocked with inventory. I only stop by because I like their recipe for glazed sour cream. The place is dirty and their donuts are not fresh. Normally there is one high school kid working. There is typically a line - not because they are busy but because they don’t keep it stocked or staffed and there is always a hold up to fill orders. God help you if someone in front of you orders a breakfast sandwich because it takes them 10 minutes to run in the back and make it. You will have a more positive andconsistent experience at Dunkin or...
