I visited Buckroe Coffee Co. based on the stellar reviews on Google. I wanted a change of scenery to finish some important work so for two back to back days I decided to come. The first day I was there for approximately 3 hours and the second day I stayed for 5.5 hours. The first day the staff were very friendly, recommended that I try a hot vanilla oat milk latte based on what I said I was in the mood for, and the drink was absolutely delicious! The second day I ordered a hot vanilla soymilk latte in the morning and in the afternoon I ordered a hot chocolate with whipped cream and a blueberry muffin. My order was accurate and items did not disappoint.
On the second day the owner was there. I know it was the owner because when he left I asked one of the employees if the man was the owner and they replied he was and that his name was Dave. Dave approached many customers, asked them if it was their first time coming, and sparked conversation. I also noticed the people who may have been regular customers. The entire time I was there, however, Dave never spoke to me nor initiated a conversation. However, this is NOT a criticism nor did I view it negatively. I, too, am an entrepreneur so I understand how such a life is, and Dave was actively engaging with his staff/team and customers. He left no stone unturned. Besides, I was working diligently with my headset on the majority of the time, so in that case I would not have approached me if I were the owner - LOL
I will - no doubt - patronize Buckroe Coffee Co. again, and it is ideal for anyone who may want a change of scenery to work. Consider supporting this business, for Dave cares about people and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāll start off by saying that when buckroe coffee co first opened, my husband and I tried it and we didnāt think we would return. Some time went by and we decided, why not give it another shot? This was yesterday, and we just left again today!!! The aƧaĆ bowls are AMAZINGGG but donāt even get me started on the egg and cheese bagels! They are HUGE! The absolute best egg and cheese bagels my husband and I have had at ANY coffee shop! The only thing Iāll say is that all of the drinks we have ordered here are more on the subtly sweet side. We do prefer our drinks to be sweet, but itās no biggie - we just ask the baristas and they are able to give us a little more syrup! The service is great, the employees are patient and willing to answer any questions, the drive thru is efficient and such a nice touch for a local coffee spot. Both yesterday and today they had a good crowd in there which makes me happy for a local business! It is pricey but 100% worth it! We woke up this morning and wanted to go again!! Support local and try buckroe coffee co! We cannot wait to go back! We are so happy to have a local gem and we have added this coffee shop to our list of places we would miss if we moved out of state! Keep doing what...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOur first visit today, 9/12, around 7am, and wow! Very friendly baristas took our order (maple spice latte w/ pumpkin muffin and Ethiopian pour over w/ blueberry muffin) and brought everything to our table as it was ready. Awesome! Everything was excellent. Iām particularly excited about a coffee shop that does pour overs because the next closest shop is Cure in City Center NN. Weāre just a mile from BCC. The vibe was wonderful. I asked my third wave coffee connoisseur millennial son in TN āIf a coffee shop is playing Hazlett, is that a good sign?ā He replied, āOooo yes š at the very least the barista has good taste!ā Even the other customers are friendly! Too many times Iāve been to places where food and service is great, but the atmosphere is sh*t because of obnoxious customers and thereās not much the owner/staff can do about it. BCC is wonderful, and weāll be back. For more coffee (I have a bucket list for the top shelf offerings), food, pictures, merch, and to explore the outside. And when my son and his family from TN visit in late November, weāll bring them here. BCC can...
