On August 26th, around 8:15 PM, I visited the KFC drive-thru and had one of the most disappointing customer service experiences I’ve ever encountered. I pulled up to the speaker and politely asked for a two 3-wing biscuit meal. The individual on the speaker, who identified himself as the manager, immediately responded that they “don’t have it.”
Naturally, I wanted clarification. I began to ask what exactly he meant by “we don’t have it” whether it was sold out, discontinued, or simply unavailable at that moment. Before I could even finish my sentence, he abruptly raised his voice and yelled at me. I want to emphasize that I remained calm and respectful during this entire exchange. I did not raise my voice, I did not argue, and I certainly did not deserve the hostility I received.
What troubles me most is that this came directly from someone claiming to be the manager. If a manager cannot handle a simple customer question without resorting to yelling, then something is very wrong. A manager should be setting the standard for professionalism and respect, not displaying behavior that is confrontational and completely unnecessary.
There was absolutely no reason for this interaction to escalate the way it did, especially when I was simply trying to understand the menu availability. Instead of providing clear information, the manager turned what should have been a routine order into an uncomfortable and unprofessional encounter.
This type of conduct should not be tolerated in a customer-facing role much less from someone in a leadership position. I strongly believe this manager needs to be addressed and disciplined by upper management. Allowing this kind of behavior to continue sets a terrible example for the staff and damages KFC’s reputation with loyal customers like myself.
I truly hope KFC takes this complaint seriously. Situations like this can and should be avoided with proper training and accountability. No customer should be treated with disrespect, especially when they are calm and courteous. I walked away from this experience feeling both disrespected and disappointed, and I believe management intervention is...
Read moreOnly giving 1 star because I wasn't able to rate 0. The chicken is so greasy, and rubbery. It wasn't edible. Chewy in many spots. The strangest consistency. The breast had less than 3 good bites of chicken. The tenders were not tenderloins. The "tender" is not tender at all and cost nearly $2 per strip. They are flattened, pounded portions of tenderloin. 10x breading to meat ratio. The biscuits are awful. No need to say much more. They're firm, no flavor and never fresh. Not soft, not buttery, not fresh, not good. Not even with the greasy chicken between. The mashed potatoes are $5 for a family size. The family size had 5 sporkfuls. A family of three wasn't satisfied. The Mac n cheese was served cold. Usually I have no complaint there, I know what I'm getting. The mobile app is a joke. The prices are horrible. For $50 you can get a family meal. Our family has not been pleased or full. The portions are small, the chicken mostly inedible. I wish it was still good. I remember really enjoying kfc when I was younger. It was a treat to have. I feel sad tonight that I worked 3 hours to buy dinner for my family who is not satisfied and still hungry. The restaurant was unable to provide receipts this evening so we will not be able to discuss this with management as they will not consider a refund or replacement without proof of purchase. My credit card being charged is not enough proof of purchase. I suggest going to the grocery store where they also serve fresh fried chicked and sides. You'll get more food and spend a quarter...
Read moreThis location is convenient because it is in my neighborhood. This location is HORRIBLE from drug using employees trying to pocket money from customers RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM to unsafe food practices. Please do not visit this location. Unfortunately I visited this location for its joint taco bell restaurant. I went through the Drive-Thru. No one else was in the line. I ordered a good 5 dollar box. Got to the window and paid, then was asked to pull around to the front door of the facility and my order would be brought out because they needed to cook a chalupa shell for my order. I was disgusted at what followed. I get home and realized the woman working was dishonest. They never dropped a chalupa....the one I got was OLD & SOGGY. Then I was further disgusted when I bit into the burrito and it had grit in it like it had been on the floor and picked back up. Are you kidding me? This is completely unacceptable. Heavy set middle aged Caucasian woman in the Drive-Thru. Most of the workers appear unkept and have zero customer service skills, this includes the managers, assistant or otherwise. I guarantee they wouldn't pay for old, soggy food that has been...
