We go through the drive thru and order a Tuna sub, get home and guess what - no tuna on the sub. Just the veggies/condiments, apparently they forgot to go back and add the tuna after toasting. We called and explained and they acted as if they didn’t believe us and refused to refund us over the phone. They made us physically bring the sandwich back- huge inconvenience with a toddler, as stated we had already gotten home. So I go back and the young lady requests the sandwich and proceeds to pick through it like inspector gadget searching to find the tuna that was not there. She then proceeds to throw it in the trash and ask would I like it remade or refunded. No apology whatsoever for their error. I said good customer service would be to offer both, considering you wouldn’t just refund it over the phone and made me physically drive back so you could inspect it. She proceeds to say with attitude, “it’s either or mam.” I said just refund me please, she literally hit a button on the register and said it’s done. She did not need my card or anything, again SOMETHING THAT COULD HAVE BEEN DONE OVER THE PHONE. Why inconvenience someone to that capacity for the error of the store? Read moreMy family and i stopped at this location mid morning, 527/18, on our way to the beach. This location is cleaniest subway we have ever been in, including the bathrooms. The staff were so friendly, engaging and had nest apperence. Thank you for a great experience...we will be back. Updated on 6/18/10... we stopped here again on our way to the beach. We waited about 5 minutes before we were even addressed and helped. No one was in the front area working. The associate, julie, was not pleasent. We ordered our normal with 1 exception. I ordered the new spinach wrap as my bread choice. When my wrap was being made she put alot of ham on it, like 8-10 slices, and only 2 triangles of cheese. I asked if she could add more because the ham to cheese ratio didnt seem right. I was told i would have to pay extra...really? Anyway, moving on. We ate our sandwiches for lunch, then alittle later in the day we all became ill. We are thinking the black forest ham caused it, because that is what we all had on our sandwiches. Honestly, I don't do well with young people, however , the staff that was scheduled for this Saturday, August 31 night shift was phenomenal. They truly taught me, don't judge the book by its cover and all young people are Not the same. Their customer service skills was on point from the time you walked in until your order was completed.
The most rewarding was watching them change their gloves as they touched different objects while preparing your food. The three of them made sure your order was prepared the way they would have their own , the accuracy of your order was correct, and the team work was on point.
Way to go Subway, these three young people are on their way to management status. Please continue to pour into them where they already have the skills to flourish . I will definitely spend my hard working money here again, as long as this customer service team is scheduled.
