I live about 1.5 hours away. I read the reviews and called ahead. When I got there. Instead of them trying o find a price point or anything. Dan, whom I dealt with first day, got me a lane and had me bowl. First few frames how I normally do. Then coached a couple things that, in honesty, really helped with my release and grip. Then he watched again. After he used my my ball only for the flare. Then went with all new measurements on new ball.
I actually went to get a spare ball.... But wow. He drilled it right the first time. In past always had issues and modifications from the normal... But with all the hand checks (flexibility, webbing, span, etc). When I threw it first time I was scared, thumb much tighter than previous ball, but it flowed off hand and felt so much better.... So much that I ended up getting another ball to be my main since it didn't feel light I had to actually grip/hold the ball. Also had him plug and redrill old ball.
Went back next day, ball was ready and good. Worked with Chris this time and was just as good an experience. Since it was a decent trip I ended up getting a third ball for when the lanes transition and Chris gave his insight for what I had to compliment and drill just as well.
While there I heard the other guys working there talk with the customers not at them. Yes sure, a lot were regulars but it felt like the entire staff help... Kind of like a collaboration with the bowler. It was never that the bowler needed to change it was ok let's get this work for you the way you do.

Read moreLate, but, very needed review as a customer/Veteran. Big shout out to Dan, Johnathan, Bolo, and Timmy for the support provided during my visit on 22 Dec 22. The Xtreme Performance Pro Shop Team provided selfless support by watching me bowl and assessing if and/or what adjustments were required for me to regain a relaxed swing, which enhanced my accuracy. They measured my hands and and drilled all ten bowling balls to fit and feel the same. During the drilling process, the power grid in the neighborhood went down and the Xtreme Team waited until the power was restore to complete the drilling. Afterwards, they provided lanes for me to practice, which enable them to make necessary adjustments. This team was dedicated to helping every customer that entered the doors. The level of support provided to me was provided to all. Tier I establishment that provides selfless customer service to all customers/veterans who enjoy Tier I level support.

Read moreI have been in the market for a new bowling ball. After my league meeting one night, I went to the Williamsburg location. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with overwhelming knowledge from the pro shop. At that time, I was looking for Storm Summit and talked about what would work best for me. I waited a few days and finally decided to pull the trigger. I went to the Hampton location and again was met with the best customer service I have ever received. They did not treat me like a customer, but like a family member. They listened, asked what I was trying to do, and gave me pointers on my game. They re-drilled my other two balls, placed inserts in them. Also, I purchased the Storm Summit. I could not be happier with my purchase. If you're looking for a team of true professionals, do not go any further. These guys at Xtreme Performance Pro Shop will take care of you.
