Panda Express — Restaurant in Hampton

I love Panda Express & that it's conveniently on base right across from where I regularly stay in lodging, but they're the one place in the food court that closes before the 1700 hours that's shown on their sign. I walked up to the counter at 4:40 today & everything was cleaned up, wiped down & food put away with a worker that was about to head out, but at least she smiled at me & said we're closed. On the other hand Starbucks also closes at 5 in the food court and so does Subway, but their employees were still on the line at 4:40 & 4:45pm taking walk-up customers including myself and about 3 or 4 others in uniform. I recently visited the Panda Express location on base, and I have to say, I was extremely disappointed with my experience. The biggest issue I had was with the portion sizes. They were significantly smaller than what I'm used to getting at other Panda Express locations.

I understand that this is a fast food restaurant, but I feel like I was ripped off for the price that I paid. The food was not worth what I paid for it.

Overall, I would still recommend this Panda Express location to anyone, especially if you are are on base as it is convenient. However, do not be surprised if you see small portion sizes. This a three-star...

Started out really well. Good portion sizes, high quality in comparison to the other local pandas, friendly service. But lately the portions on the orange chicken have dropped significantly. I got a "bigger plate" double orange chicken with honey walnut. The double orange chicken serving was the exact same as my honey walnut, and only the location manager serves it....
