My husband and I recently hosted a rehearsal dinner at WYHM Craft Pub & Brewery, and we couldn't have asked for a better venue. From start to finish, the experience was fantastic!
Firstly, the atmosphere was perfect for our gathering. The laid-back yet stylish decor created a warm and inviting environment that made our guests feel right at home. We rented out the basement space and found the combination of industrial elements and cozy seating areas to be so unique.
The staff at WYHM were incredibly accommodating and attentive. They took care of all our needs, ensuring that everything went smoothly. Our event coordinator, Gretchin, was proactive in helping us customize the menu for the evening, catering to a variety of dietary restrictions and preferences.
Speaking of the menu, the food was a standout! We opted for a selection of appetizers, a few main dishes, and a brownie station for dessert. Every single item was delicious. The locally sourced ingredients made each bite feel special, and our guests complimented the food all night. I highly recommend the House-Made Pretzels. The Gouda Stout cheese was so good, we had to order more!
The brewery aspect of WYHM added a unique twist to our event. With an extensive selection of craft beers brewed on-site, we were able to offer our guests a taste of local brews as well as some top-notch mixed drinks!
Overall, WYHM Craft Pub & Brewery was the ideal location for our rehearsal dinner. It beautifully combined great food, craft beer, and a welcoming atmosphere, making it a memorable night for everyone. I highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to host a unique and...
Read moreOnce again, a most amazing time! We chose WHYM as our first dining out experience since the beginning of Covid-19, so...since the end of February, 5 months ago. We knew the owners would take things seriously. There were a few rules in place but nothing inconvenient. There was live music by Anthony Geano. So nice to hear a live performance by a very talented musician. It wasn't packed but there was a steady flow of people. We were greeted by our server and everything went smoothly. Picnic tables set apart under the "big top" and more with umbrellas. The traffic noise from Rt 1 wasn't overpowering (other than the occasional motorcycle) and never deterred from the music. Our food was incredibly delicious and served in a very timely manner. By the way, we think that WHYM has the best fish and chips on the Seacoast. Seriously large portion of fish and perfectly cooked chips. Our cocktails were on point. The beer was delicious. Honestly, I cannot wait to go back. Congrats, WHYM, for...
Read moreMy husband and I stopped here before a show at the Casino Ballroom. The fried pickles were nice and crispy, with two dipping sauces. My husband had a burger that he said was delicious. I had the Caribbean hot chicken sandwich, which was tasty and crisply fried. Unfortunately I couldn't eat more than a couple bites as the texture of the chicken was off. Nothing they did wrong in cooking it- just a bad piece. Our server was happy to have another made, but we didn't have enough time to wait, so the dish was comped off the bill. I appreciated that, since I realize it could have been perceived as me just being picky. Loved the Chef's fries though, and was full between those and the pickles. My husband had a light hazy IPA, and I had a tasty Paloma. It was a beautiful night to be outside, under the tent. The guy playing guitar and singing was very good. My husband's back was to him, and he kept asking me if it was "still the guy, or a recording?" Overall, very good experience, and I wouldn't...
