The Sequoia Club — Restaurant in Hanford

So we went there last night, after seeing a movie. We went and saw a movie called " like a boss" and my girlfriend and I really enjoyed it. This is a bar that I have been to many many times over the years. I know the bartenders and I know the owner. So any ways the movie got out around 9:00 pm. We came over to shoot a couple of games of pool. We were there for an hour maybe?.maybe an hour and a half. We just had a pitcher of beer.( I had a doctor pepper) I am not drinking. The bar was doing a Brisk business. It was a good crowd for a Friday night . busy but not too packed. They had one bar tender and a bar back. Kelly was bartending and she does a good job. This bar is a dive bar, and I am not saying that to put them down. It is what it is. If you want to go out and have some drinks, listen to the juke box( last night they had karaoke) maybe shoot some pool then this is a good place for you. But if you want a quiet booth and conversation, and sophisticated mixed drinks, and elegant decor then this is not the...

This will always be the best bar in Hanford. It's a dive bar. I don't think that there is any arguing that, but that's why I love it. Meghan, the bar tender has always been one of the best, for years and years now, and in sure she always will be. Has Karaoke, Pool, and a dance floor. What else do you need? The only thing I've ever been disappointed about was when they re-did the bar top. I really liked the old beat up bar that was a left over from the original turn of the century bar. The bartender was very good to me and I felt welcomed, even though I was dragging my suitcase and backpack, fresh off the Amtrak. It was a $3.00 ride to get here. She poured a proper shot( to the rim) and the lime was a fresh cut . The draft was very cold and no "dirty tap" lingering aftertaste.
