What I like: I’ll give it a star for an excellent deli selection. I also like the meat section (smaller packages of better quality steaks) as compared to Costco. And that’s really all the good I can say about their offerings.
I do also like the fact that they have what items you can find in that aisle on a sign at the head of the racks. I find that to be the most frustrating thing about Costco.
What I dislike: Gas station…frankly this should be the biggest positive Since the nearest Costco does not offer gas. Instead it’s their biggest negative. The guys working the pumps are difficult, rude, slow, and the “long” hoses that should allow you to pull in with the cap on the “wrong side” of your car, don’t work on bigger trucks and SUV’s. One time when I pulled in, the gas station attendant told me that I was too close to the pumps and he couldn’t fit to get to the gas Pump handle. So I proceeded to get out of my truck, as this was not my first time at a gas station, and pulled the pump handle out, and stuck it in the gas tank. I’m 6 foot one, and about 195 pounds. And I didn’t find this to be very difficult, and thought it was amazing that a gentleman who is smaller than me by at least 6 inches and 40 pounds seemed to be struggling. He then told me I needed to pull my truck up another foot in order for the hose to work properly, which it didn’t.
Food court…what food court? You can find better options at a 7-11.
Selection…Honestly, you might get a half of the options you get at Costco down the street. This applies to all categories. Food, household items, furniture, clothes, etc., etc.
Prices…Not matching Costco but still ok compared to grocery stores.
If the only benefit the shopping here is that you save $0.10 a gallon on gas, I really don’t know that it’s worth having a...
Read moreThis is a new BJ’s club that recently opened. They still have balloons and signs up from the grand opening. An associate was handing out store map at the entrance. She also helped with finding the online order pick-up area. Unlike other BJ’s, this one has it behind the checkout area.
The store itself looks fantastic. Everything was super clean and new. Inventory was full, all items were fully stocked. I saw lots of people in customer service line to get the membership. My pickup was smooth. I got a nice BJ’s tote bag, as they were giving one to each customer for opening special. I had a fantastic first time experience at this store.
This BJ’s has gas station too. Gas prices are cheap. There’s also additional discount for BJ’s members,...
Read moreBj vs CC You take the good you take the bed in there you have the facts of life. The fact BJs has better hours than Cosco. I don’t know why Costco is 10 to 6. I mean come on guys I need to go get a tub of mayonnaise at 9 o’clock at night no questions please. The bad, food court is nowhere near as good. There are no random snacks however the parking is much better. It’s a gas station right on route 10 which has very affordable gas however they do not take cash at the gas station. Deals not a good.
I did not find the meat selection to be as good either. Not sure if I will renew my membership after the initial because it seems like gas is the only thing worthwhile if I already have a...
