Fatsoz Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Hanover Township

I recently moved to the neighborhood and thought I found a place to hang out and meet people. I came several times and was meeting people and they were all very friendly. I was making friends. I am a very respectful person and I respect the environment. I smoke. I go outside and when I am done with my cigarette I will pinch off the hot ash and find a garbage can to dispose of the filter. Now I am not even sure it was a filter that I was disposing of at the time. It could have been a piece of the label from a beer bottle. But I was being very respectful in tossing any of my garbage into the garbage can. The bartender was busy with customers so I just tossed it toward the garbage can which was maybe 8 feet or so away. Of course, with my luck, it bounced off the very edge of the can into a sink that was right next to it. So, I let the bartender know what happened and they were looking in the sink for it. It eventually came down to some female individual that began yelling at me about smoking. English was not their first language, I assume, because I could not understand much of what she was saying. I replied with the fact that I could not understand what she was saying. Apparently this made her even more irate and she started being all that more aggressive with me. I asked why she was being so mean. This must have ticked her off even more-so. This person then proceeded to order me out of the bar for no reason other than being respectful and attempting to throw garbage in the garbage can where it belongs. I wouldn't do such a thing, but I should have just thrown whatever it was that I was trying to throw away on the floor instead, like some non-respectful jerk would do. Then all would be good. But I am not like that. It has been weeks since and I will not go there again. I am a person that enjoys having a little fun even if it costs me 60 or 70 $ a week. But whoever this person was, does not deserve to have any revenue from someone respectful, like me. I'm 62 years old and hardly a person that is immature like this person that was throwing a tantrum over nothing. If this person was the owner or a manager, then they should not deserve the patronage of a person as respectful as I am. I have been giving that money I spend to their competitors instead. All because someone would not be mature about a simple mishap, regardless of the reason why the mishap happened in the first place. Who knows what this person was thinking? They obviously had the wrong idea as to what was going on. But I don't take being treated in such a way, over nothing, lightly at all. The fact is that I wasn't being the jerk... they were. They don't deserve good people like myself in their establishment. 5 stars for the people that visit. Subtract 3 stars for the one, single person that made a fun night out a...

Racist white bar I'm pregnant so I can't drink. But my BF wanted to stop and have beer. I came in after him, he was already playing slots. He called me over to have me buy him another round... I handed him some money for his game, but changed his mind about the beer before I could order it. When we got outside, he told me some guys were staring at me (the only person of color in the whole bar) and mean mugging him. It had made him so uncomfortable, we had to leave or he was gonna make them...

I can't vouch for the atmosphere because we used GrubHub to order.

The food I certainly can vouch for. It's fantastic!! We ordered twice from Fatsoz Bar. I have never had a steak come perfectly cooked without having to give instructions before. I am impressed!

The burger, just as good as the steak, if not better.

Mac n cheese bites and onion rings are also outstanding!
