Taqueria La Rosa — Restaurant in Hanover Township

First time I went there and it will also be the last!! my husband and i went there because he has always seen it and I said why not lets eat somewhere new i went in and the place didn't look all that great it looked like it was falling apart and I just thought maybe I just being picky so I gave it a try anyway worst mistake ever after I got my food the fries felt old!! I wanted something with chicken for my son and they didn't have any chicken i order just a plain quesadilla and they brought it with some other kind of meat and I ordered a torta with egg and chorizo i split with my husbands burrito we both got sick from either the burrito or the torta at the end of the day i felt sick next day my husband was sent home because he didn't feel good and i also got send home the truth is and I know all of you will get grossed out but i Puked all of it now n im still feeling it now it's pretty much all day I...

I was recommended to this place by a few people. I decided to go today. We get there and tables that are not in use were durty. The waitress did not acknowledge us nor looked at us. She finally cleans a table and tells us to sit. No menu was given to us we had to grab one ourselves.We wait and wait a few minutes and nothing not even to offer us a drink. We see more people coming in. Now the table in front of us gets taken by a family of 4. By this point we're considering leaving but understand she was struggling. What made us leave was the fact that she took care of the family of 4 instead of us and we had been there for an easy 15 minutes. Very disappointed as my first time...

I don't want to hurt the business so I will give it 4 stars, but the price on the menu is wrong and even though it is permitted by law it is always a downer. The food I ordered was 33% above what they had in the menu. The place needs some serious attention. If they can't afford a renovation, some paint and love would show that they care (right now it seems like they don't). Food was not bad but I would say below average. Girl at the front also didn't seem too friendly. Either care for what you are doing or more reviews like those will come. And they will be below 4 stars. Might/might not try it...
