Today was a truly disappointing experience. Upon arrival, I requested a high chair for my two-year-old daughter. The server brought the high chair and placed it next to another chair instead of setting it up. She then informed me that I could move the other chair so that I could set up the high chair myself. I was holding my two-year-old, and I was taken aback by this request, as it was the first time I had ever been asked to move a chair to set up a high chair myself. Usually, the server handles such tasks. She later realized that I am holding my daughter and saying, “Oh, it’s okay, I can do it.” I let it go and didn’t think much of it.
It took a while for the server to come to our table to take our order, and we were still patient. However, when we finally received our food, while we were still eating, she returned with a to go box and placed it next to my nine-year-old son, who was still eating (he had only just started and had only eaten one-quarter of his food). I feel this is very rude, especially since we were still eating and had not even asked for a to go box. Why would she give us a box when we were not even halfway through our meals?
After that, I began placing some of my food away (half of my burritos and half of my son’s burritos) in the box. My son’s plate still had a lot of rice and meat that had fallen off the tortilla, and he was still eating. The same server came and saw me putting my food away and asked, “Oh, are you done?” She then began grabbing plates off our table, including trying to grab my son’s plate. I told her that my son was still working on his food. It was an awkward situation, and I didn’t know what to respond to when she asked me if I was done, as if she couldn’t wait for us to leave.
Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience, and I felt unwelcome and rushed. I texted my husband, and he called the restaurant to speak to the manager, but the same server informed him that the manager was not in.
We will never be...
Read moreThere were a lot of mixed reviews here I live nearby and I've often passed this place straight so I decided to try Taco Tuesday which is a dollar fifty a taco and they have eight or nine different filling choices they're only toppings are lettuce tomato and hot sauce maybe you can ask for other toppings but that's the standard topping to me the ground beef taco tasted the most fresh I don't like the artificial red coloring on the chicken meat because if it's the bondia seasoning that they're using it's either very heavy and paprika which makes the chicken look red or it might be an artificial red coloring which I think that the chicken looks better as a real chicken breast not colored with the red seasoning service is extremely polite very professional window service for drive up and overall if you're going to eat there then you want specific toppings you need to ask for them because the toppings choices are very minimal if you...
