McDonald's — Restaurant in Hanover Township

I’ve actually never wrote a review in my life lol but I’ve recently moved to cedar lake and have been going to this McDonald’s it’s always been decent service but tonight I came through the drive through around 10 minutes before close which I felt so bad about but I worked late and it was the only thing open and as an ex McDonald’s employee I felt worse I feel so bad describing someone without their name but around this time there was a younger guy prob 20’s-30’s working ginger with green button up shirt I always order th same thing chicken nuggets and a fruit punch as a old McDonald’s worker I know the Maxine for the Hawaiian Punch never fills full I used to take an extra cup and fill it soemtimes if I had the time for people to do that but it was never required and I wouldn’t expect it he filled my drinks I ordered 2 and filled both to them top I also forgot to order my fries which I was so tired and forgot and asked nicely if I could at the window and said “sorry I know your about to close and sort staffed these days but would u mind adding 2 medium fries “ and he was so nice to add that on for me I had the extra money for the fries ready but he said don’t worry about it as they were about to t throw the rest of the fries out already he had amazing manners which I wouldn’t expect his personality or demeaner working that late in fast food as I have been there before myself and it’s so tiring he had such an amazing additude and was so nice and because of him I will only now be going to this McDonald’s I hope he gets a raise soon he deserves it for the work and his amazing additude and personality I used to get annoyed with customers like me lol . Please give this man a raise he’s so nice .also Christmas is coming up atleast a bonus come on...

Explaining in detail exactly what is wrong with this place. When I first started working here the very first day I found tiny bugs under a booth table. MULTIPLE BUGS just crawling all around. I've had snide remarks made by other employees about me for my hearing disability. I was fired for missing one day for being sick, 3 days I went into work just to be written up every day and told that I didn't have a job anymore. I wasn't given a reason! Fast forward a couple of months and I get re-hired at this place again, I get taken off of my station because the manager freaked out over me not using gloves on the frappes that I was just instructed to throw away by a coworker. The bathroom was never clean top to bottom unless I cleaned it and the station after I was taken off it of , was completely messy and the dishwasher area just piled with stuff that nobody bothered to do. Now on the manager who skimps on the produce for prep. I also lost my job here for no reason AGAIN and the manager didn't have the spine to tell me to my face that I was fired. He made an employee do it. This man is the most terrible , inadequate manager of a fast food place I have ever come across, he's clearly emotionally distressed and freely shows his various moods around his employees. This place NEEDS to be checked out. They also still owe another employee for 3 days of work that they are...

This McDonalds is something special. Getting a correct order is like pulling teeth. What's even more unique to this location is the food flavor all around. I can always tell if the food was purchased from this location by taste alone. Something is different here and not in a good way. The point of chain restaurants is to follow the same standards at all locations, to achieve consistency through out locations. Gave up going to this location, will drive an extra 15 minutes to st john. Think corporate needs to take a CLOSE look into food quality, storage and/or preperation. Because something is wrong in a serious way. There has to be a reason all of the food is consistently sub par to say the least. Reading the other reviews has me really wondering and concerned with what is wrong with this location. Definetly will drive past, today's incorrect off tasting order was enough for me. All I can say is this place is just NOT RIGHT in all areas on a consistent basis, especially the food taste. This is my experience from visiting this location multiple times for over 3 years due to its convenience. So this is not an isolated incident by far. Forget the convenience now after reading...
