Totally delish lunch!! Went for lunch with my brother after doing some fall foliage peeping. Liz gave us our menu's and drinks and answered all of our questions. The food arrived and was perfectly prepared (and nice and hot!). I had the steak stir fry which was really good (the steak was cooked to perfection). When Liz returned for our plates, she noticed that I had not touched the mushrooms (wasn't in a mushroom mood and didn't really think to say 'leave them out' as I know that usually they are included with stir fry anyway). Liz in a really tactful and very cool (great service sort of way) brought up that I had put the mushrooms to the side. When i told her it was okay, that i just didn't want to eat them she said "that's okay, but the next time you come back, let us know and we can leave them out". I loved her comment and the fact that it was great service (and good for her for noticing that I had left them out) with an expectation that we enjoyed our meal and would be back for more - which we will because the steak stir fry and subsequent hot fudge sundae was really good. But when I thought about how many times someone has ever said to me "the next time you're here, let us know and we can leave them out" vs. just taking the plates away without saying anything - it's usually been just taking the plates away. I will definitely go back because while good food is one thing, great food and amazing service is a totally different ball game altogether. Thanks Liz!!

We chose this restaurant based on its decent reviews and its convenient location near Hangover Inn. My husband initially ordered the salmon burger, but a few minutes later, a manager informed him that it hadn’t turned out well and asked him to choose something else. He switched to a regular burger, which was a bit surprising, as we would expect an American restaurant to be able to prepare a salmon burger properly. I ordered the almond salmon, which unfortunately was overcooked and served with wilted arugula. While our server checked in on us, his response to my concern about the arugula was dismissive, saying, “It’s ok, it’s arugula.” After I pointed out that it was yellow and spoiled, he eventually brought the manager over. The manager initially offered a replacement but brought another plate with the same wilted arugula. After I declined it, he finally provided a fresh portion. On a positive note, I enjoyed the apple cider with cinnamon spice, though it was a bit too sweet for my taste. Overall, while the service was responsive after some back-and-forth, the food quality left much to be desired. If food quality is your main concern, this may not be the best choice.

Nice little restaurant with outdoor sitting (a must these days to enjoy the lovely weather). We were seated next to a tree and the chirping birds set the mood right up. Good place for get togethers with friends or couples alike, this is located right in the middle of downtown hanover, minutes away from dartmouth college. The food is decent. We ordered street corn, which kept us occupied till the rest of the food arrived. I thought it could use more spices.. Or could be more charred, but my friend liked it so may be it's just me. The staff serving us recommended Mac and cheese with the biggest smile behind mask, so we went with it. I rarely order this for dinner but glad I did that. It was rigatoni and cheese rather than macaroni, but very well balanced served with balsamic glazed salad to keep it light. We also ordered fish tacos with grilled yellowfin. It had huge portions of fish. Mind it that it's rarely done so if you are not a fan of rare grilled fish, you should avoid this.. (I needed this warning) They also have $3 margarita, which we didn't know until our friends told us later. Don't miss those. Overall Lovely place, good staff and decent food.

I had dinner with a friend at the restaurant on 1/4/24. The server seemed like she might be new, but she was nice enough. There was a table seated about 10-15 minutes after us and their food arrived 10 minutes before ours. We had only ordered a pizza and tacos, so it shouldn’t have taken too long as the restaurant wasn’t especially busy. The tacos were disgusting. There was a bed of bland, seemingly straight out of the bag slaw at the bottom of the tortilla, topped with overcooked, dry and lukewarm fish nuggets. The quality of the food has unfortunately gone down significantly since the last time I was there. After our meal, it felt as we were being rushed out of the place as the server asked if we were ready for the check when we had barely finished eating. I planned to order dessert, but then a large party of college students was seated right next to us (there were at least four empty tables in the dining area), and the entire bench and row of tables we were in was full so it was difficult to hear my friend. We settled with the server and went to the bar area to order dessert where we could hear each speaking. I ordered a decaf coffee and dessert, while my friend ordered a regular coffee. It seems the server didn’t pay attention when he served the beverages because it’s nearly 4 in the morning and I am wide awake. It’s not only annoying, but caffeine gives me heart palpitations, which is scary. All around, the service was subpar and the food wasn’t good. Save your money and eat elsewhere, especially if you’ve been to Molly’s in the past and expect the same...

I've been to Molly's for the past 10 years but today I was deeply disappointed. They have good food and USUALLY good service My complaint is that they have deceiving dining hours. My family and I were looking for a place to eat at around 9:30, but nothing else was open. Molly's says online and in front of the restaurant that it's open until 10 pm. We decided that Molly's is the only option. We went to the front desk waiting for a waitress to come and seat us. No one came. The employees were cleaning up and flat out ignoring us. A few waitresses saw us, looked us straight in the eye, and continued with cleaning up. I can take a hint but if the restaurant says it's open until 10 then they should still serve and let people order until the closing time. We ended up waiting five minutes until someone finally took the hint and came to us and said that the bar and kitchen was closed. It was only 9:30. I get that it was late and everyone wanted to go home, but that doesn't mean you kick your customer out when it says "OPEN" in front of the restaurant. Change the time and make it more clear for customers to avoid confusion for both parties. If you plan on going anytime soon make sure to make a reservation in person instead of calling for it's usually busy and they tend to not...
