I'm not happy with my experience today and that's unusual for this location. I placed a mobile order then went to the drive thru. I used my rewards points to get a free big mac. I also ordered fries and a large dr. Pepper. I gave my order code and was told to pull ahead. While I was waiting the charge went through my bank for more than $3 what it should've been. Confused I got to the window and the employee gave me the receipt. My order was changed to free big mac, a 2 cheeseburger meal no onions and a coke zero. I'm not sure where she pulled this order from so when I got to the next window I told the guy there that my order was all messed up and I had been overcharged. While he's trying to figure it out with the ladies inside I offer to pull up and wait because I can see they're extremely busy. Decided to go inside where I was given the correct order. When asked about the refund for the overpayment I was told to go in the app and say I didn't receive my order so I could get a refund. The woman helping me was very polite in explaining that thevstores have no control over mobile order refunds. I explained to her that I had tried to do this before at another store where I actually didn't get a $26 order because the store was closed but still charged my card. I was told to do a stop payment with my bank so I'm not wasting my time doing it again. You all have a serious disconnect with mobile ordering when there's an issues. I strongly suggest rectifying that problem. It seems an easier fix that losing customers for what appears to be incompetence.
I have no idea how or why my order was changed by the order taker from what I put in my mobile order. She started the whole problem and I'm frustrated because all I wanted was some feel good fast food on a rainy...
Read moreThis crew at mid morning (10:30) needs stern management. I was in the drive thru ordering sweet tea and as I sat in my car waiting for the vehicle ahead of me to move, I counted at least eight possibly more employee crew members just standing around in a group. Unless they were discussing a strategy plan on what they needed to do next, not one of them was doing a thing. Including the manager, she had keys and a register in her hands.standing there while the drive thru backed up because of the customer ahead of me waiting on food order. When the young lady came to the window I asked her for a drink carrier and she responded with a smart mouth that "he went to get em cause they couldn't reach them" bobbing her head at me. Well he came around the corner with the carriers and instead of giving me one, she proceeded to hold it in her hand as she turned to explain to him that I must be impatient because I asked for it at the first window and now I was at hers. I interrupted her by telling her "Thank you for the drink carrier!" As loud as I could so she would hand it over. McDonolds is removing the registers at the counters and putting the ordering on the customers...why? Because they can't find competent people with social skills! Very rude to have employees run their mouth about a customer to another employee as that customer is within hearing distance or for any reason what so ever. The reason I didn't stay at the first window was because that would have held up the drive thru further. Maybe when this location renovated the store they should have renovated the crew and threw them out...
Read moreSabotage. Yes, sabotage. Have you ever had someone intentionally ruin your breakfast meal? Well, that what happened here at 9:34 am (order 1371). It was just Coffee, to go with my Egg McMuffin meal, only I asked for 3 Creams and 1 Splenda (nothing special). In my recent experience, the more you customize your order at McDonald's in most neighborhoods in Atlanta, somehow they find a way to ignore you. In this case, when I got my coffee it had 5 creams, (maybe 1 Splenda), but 4 packets of sugar. Imagine how that tastes. Ok, I get it, coffee is a complimentary side item, so it's not considered important. But it ruined the beverage I needed to eat with my food. So I went inside to get it corrected, and yes I was made to wait, and wait, and wait. I wasn't being noisy or disruptive. I seemed to have gotten the same lady who made the original coffee, and the crew joked how she's not good at making coffee, and I thought "then why is she making coffee"? It had 5 creams in it - and that's all I needed; I drove off determined to pour it out when I arrived at my destination. She just didn't care about it one way or another. Here's the thing, Chik-Fila is directly across the street, and they get my order right 98% of the time. They actually care about your food. How is this possible? It's because the servers don't care about your order at THIS McDonald's, and neither does the management. Ok, I'm done - life goes on. I'm not trying to be mean, but this needed to get...
