Puccino Problems
#PucciProbs Read Time 1-3 minutes
What a disappointment this was for me, an avid coffee drinker and enthusiast. I decided to pop into Puccino’s one rainy day and was immediately taken aback by the eclectic decor. Everything was aesthetically appealing except for the coffee.
While the decor and atmosphere was attractive and overwhelming; the actual item I went there for (the coffee) was not. I ordered a very simple iced coffee with a double shot of expresso, a splash of cream and a flavored syrup. It was an utter disaster. The coffee tasted like cereal milk and looked like it too. I kept asking myself “did she put in my double shot of expresso?” Then it came to mind “maybe she was distracted by the overwhelming decor and missed my double shot.” The bottom line is she was overtly confused by my simple order and even forgot my pastry.
Let’s get into this pastry really quickly. First the selection of pastries was obscured. I couldn’t tell if I was observing an almond croissant or a crumbling scone. There were a few muffins to choose from and glazed twist donuts obviously bought from another location. I opted for the glazed twist and didn’t even take a bite because I was thrown off by the off balance coffee.
I love a good local coffee shop and am disappointed because I’ve been to Puccino’s several times before; just not this location. My opinion is maybe the barista needed a little more training. She was extremely polite just a little lacking in her coffee making abilities. I’ll give Puccino’s another try maybe again at this location but who knows.

Read moreI go to Puccinos weekly and today I was highly highly upset leaving here. It was raining and I was waiting for them to answer the drive thru speaker was told to hold on so I had my window rolled up until they were ready. I waited 2 minutes and rolled my window to be told I’ve been ready. So when I got to the window the manager was nice but the girl giving me my drinks had the NASTIEST attitude. She told me I tried telling you we been ready so I explained to her I had my window rolled up because it was storming. She then turned around with an attitude and told me well we can’t control the weather. When I asked for her manager she told me come get her then and Slammed the window in my face as she told me shes not my kid. At this point I had 2 drinks but not one of the ones I ordered. So I go inside ask for the manager and she continue screaming at me in the restaurant In front of people including my 6 yr old. Telling me she isn’t the one to mess with etc. I turned to the manager and asked if she really allows her works to speak to customers this way and all she could say was sorry and handed me 2 $5 gift cards. Highly disappointed with how this was handled. I don’t need the money to compensate I need to be treated with respect and I’m sorry but who in the hell let’s their employees talk to people this way. I’ve lived in River Ridge since I was 7 and have never had an experience like this around here EVER! Highly...
Read moreI visited Puccino's for a quick daytime coffee outing. I arrived at 10am on a Tuesday morning and parking was non-existent. I guess it's good that they're getting business, but the parking lot is a bit small for the location. I had to drive around a few minutes before locating a spot behind the building. I then had to go through the drive through area in order to reach the parking spot. I ordered a cappuccino, and silly me for thinking that it would come in a small ceramic cup lol. I was asked if I wanted a small, medium or large. I was then given the option of adding flavoring. I never knew ordering a cappuccino could be so difficult lol. However, I did appreciate the fact that they had several sugar free syrups and decided to go with french vanilla. My cappuccino was super hot and I had to wait about 30 minutes before being able to comfortably drink it. The inside of the coffee shop was unique, but the atmosphere wasn't for me. I can't see myself taking my laptop there and hanging out for a...
