I order from Anna's on Harlem on an average at least once a week. If we have company and I'm short on time, I order more. If I have a party, I think of Anna's first ... or at least I did.
My daughter ordered a pizza there last night. When she arrived to pick it up, she was told they had given it away to someone else, and she would have to wait for them to make her a new one. Strike 1 in my book: You tell the customer how sorry you are, and then you tell them you will deliver their piping hot pizza to their home. While she was sitting there, the lovely woman up front went in back and asked about compensating her for her inconvenience. She heard what was confirmed today as the owner (or owner's husband), Jason, laughing in the back as he told the counter person to "just give her a piece of cheesecake". Meanwhile not only did she have to wait for their error to be corrected, her fried mushrooms grew stone cold ... AND she heard them on the phone calling the people who they gave her pizza to and offering THEM an entirely free pizza to make up for this inconvenience. Strike 2. After taking the time to calm down, she called today and spoke with Jason - yes the same Jason, who, after hearing her complaint, never offered one word of apology nor the slightest gesture of amends ... instead, while Jess's voice remained at a conversational level, with her words carefully chosen, HIS voice continued to raise, up to and including the point that I could clearly hear him yelling into her phone from my position across the room. Strike THREE ... and Anna's on Harlem ......
Read moreWe've been ordering from Anna's for years now - almost weekly, sometimes numerous times a week. Understanding that no company can be perfect 100% of the time, Anna's is as close as they come! In the rare event something is not right, Anna's has put our customer experience 1st to fix whatever is "wrong" - and without hesitation.
Tonight, when I arrived for pickup, Garrett came to the front counter to inform me that our pizza didn't meet THEIR expectations of perfection. He offered to make us another pizza (unprompted) if we were willing to wait AND gave us the 1st pizza, too - at no additonal charge to us.
We cannot speak higher of this establishment's quality of food and exceptional service. Their consistent customer-first approach continues to affirm why they have earned our repeat business and continued referrals to our family and friends. 🗣📣
If you are looking to support a local family-owned establishment during these turbulent times, Anna's Pizza (on Harlem Rd) deserves every bit of this community's support - in hopes they stay around and continue to serve this same community for years to come!
Thanks to Garrett (and working staff) tonight for another great experience (pizza pie 🍕 was delicious, as usual), and to ALL of Anna's employees for every order and...
Read moreStarted ordering here bout 2 months ago. Order medium 'za with extra cheese, pepperoni, green olives, jalapeno and reg. sausage. Had been great. Like wow why i haven't been here before. Ordered tonight got same 'za but did not see the extra cheese. Called to mention my complaint , my right as a customer. But apparently the customer who likes extra cheese and orders extra cheese doesn't know what extra cheese is. Before from center out to crust. Tonight just piled high in center. Didn't argue just hung up. No attempt in trying to save me as a before happy customer. Not interested in freebies just want what i order and pay for. Everywhere customer service has gone south...
