I wasn't going to write a review after my first bad experience at this location, because I gave them a chance to make it right, but after last night I will never be ordering from this location again and I will be telling others about my experiences as well. A couple months ago i ordered a pizza, wings, and pasta online for delivery at about 12:15 AM. The order went through and I was quoted about 45-55 minutes for delivery.....Well, at 1:15 AM my order still hadn't arrived so I called Dominos, but of course at this point, the restaurant was closed and I had no way of getting a hold of anyone. I don't know whether they closed up early or what, but long story short, after receiving a confirmation email assuring me my food was in the works-- it just never came. no phone call, nothing. bullsh*t. So i go in to the store the next day and speak with a manager who offers to make my order for me for free. I said no I don't want it right now, can you just give me a customer credit? he informed me that I would receive a gift certificate in the mail, as that was the way they did things there. I thanked him and left. About a month later I receive the gift certificate in the mail (free 14" 2-topping pizza, not even what my order was initially, but I appreciated their effort to make things right). Well, last night I decided to cash in on my free pizza. so I call, tell the woman who answers the phone about my past experience and my gift certificate, and she proceeds to tell me""I'm sorry, we just switched our system over and we no longer accept gift certificates". I said "ma'am I received this gift certificate from your exact store and it says right here that it doesn't expire until the end of march". she said "i'm sorry but everything is automated in our system (blah blah blah)" so i ask to speak to a manager, sure that they would be able to help me. she then informs me that SHE IS THE MANAGER ON DUTY, but yet there is nothing she can do. Being an assistant manager at a restaurant myself, this is completely unacceptable. what is the point of having a manager that doesn't have the ability/access to handle these situations. I asked her, to confirm, that there was no one else I could speak with? she said "no but my manager will be in tomorrow morning and she can help you then" well, that isn't very helpful, is it? Wish I had gotten "manager on duty"s name. what kind of restaurant doesn't accept their own stupid gift certificate? and it was only for a 14" pizza???? I ended up going to the domino's on N Main who provided excellent customer service and could not believe what had happened. they accepted my gift certificate, even though it wasn't even their stores mistake. will never visit this location again and will always deter others as well. I gave this location a chance to make things right and all I received in return was terrible...
Read moreOrdered 2 pasta dishes. One being just an alfredo with cheese and the other being a bread bowl chicken Alfredo. They got them flipped, putting the pasta without chicken in the bread bowl and vice versa. Normally not a big deal but when one person eating is a vegetarian it can ruin the experience, especially when they believe they had been eating chicken. Called the store to explain what happened, they claimed it was made right and that we were incorrect. They offered to remake the dishes which at that point didn't matter since they were eaten and showed no concern about the fact that there was an error that could have been bad due to dietary constraints. They again apologized in a half hearted tone and said hope you have a good night. Used to be a big fan, but this kinda killed it for me.
Update: Tried to give them another shot, they messed up cinnamon breadsticks by not adding the cinnamon and just sent cooked bread..called and they were super nice. said they would send a text message i would have to reply to and i would get a gift card to fix order. Never got the text and when i called a day later they told me I would have to call corporate to get a replacement order... food is great here, customer...
Read moreYes I just had one of the worst experiences I have ever went through with a pizza place from Domino's on Loves Park I ordered they didn't send ranch or marinara with either of my order I called back the woman got an attitude and hung up on me then when I called back again and ask to speak to the manager she hung up on me again I tried to call back about three or four different times and then she picks up the phone and acts like the manager and says that they are allowed to hang up on customers meanwhile I'm waiting for the delivery driver to come give me a refund and take this food back which obviously is not coming I will be in there to talk to the boss not the manager if that was the manager which I dont believe it was because the manager is dressed as rude as the employee and says it is okay for her employees to hang up on customers. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM DOMINOES AGAIN!! NO TYPE OF PROFESSIONALISM OR RESPECT FOR COSTUMERS!!
