Place is absolute 🔥🔥. Today I visited and sampled the Cajun fried rice as well as their signature fried shrimp burrito and both were a flavor explosion to the palate. Finally, I have something other than tacos to look forward to when coming for work down to the Valley. There is nothing that compares to the recipes and concoctions Dirty South puts out. This spot was one to remember, the food is so delicious and amazing , chef Andrew took his time to explain everything on the menu as to what was in the food , ingredients and from he told me everything is made from scratch!! When I stoped by to try his Cajun food he gave me samples to try out of the Texas gumbo and I fell in love , it’s like a taste of Louisiana but in the valley , I ordered that and some boudin empanadas, that were crispy and very good paired with the gumbo to dip in , and don’t even get me started on the homemade mac and cheese , moral of the story , y’all have to check this place...

This place is amazing I got to eat their food at Los Fresnos where they were setup at for the Rodeo. I will be going to Harlingen next to eat where there business is at. They were very friendly and serve generous portions. I want to go back and try their shrimp boil next time.
