G's TEA Sunshine Strips — Restaurant in Harlingen

This place was okay! I was a really big fan of the decorations and atmosphere. It was so clean, beautiful, and there’s a bunch of little crochet keychains or plushes to look at or buy while you’re there. There’s so many plants and everything just has a really sleek look? I liked it a lot. The cashier helping us was also really sweet, really enthusiastic. She helped recommend me my drink, and gave us as much time as we needed to look at the menu. Now, the not-so-good stuff. The dubai strawberries were absolutely horrible? I have no idea what the green frothy stuff was but it really didn’t taste good at all. The texture was super unpleasant because it was a premade cup, so the chocolate and water from the strawberries just mixed and it was really slop-like at the bottom. I threw away the rest of my cup because it honestly was not up to par with any other dubai cup I’ve ever had. As for the drink, it was also alright. It was pretty creamy, very milky. It definitely had a nice taste, but the syrup in it was really throwing me off. I shook my drink a lot and it didn’t really mix, it just tasted gooey and really sweet. Awful customer service! Don’t go! Asked them to fix their mistake and they refused unless I paid again! Their first location used spoiled milk. Disgusting and unsanitary.

The employees won’t admit that they are wrong. Customer service is extremely poor that when you ask to correct it they refuse unless you pay for your order twice. My husband and I got super sick after having drinks from here. My husband already has 4 days sick and this is the only place we had before we reacted. It also is not the first time we had this tea. We have bought from the other location and it’s NEVER done us bad!
