Wings and Rings — Restaurant in Harlingen

6-17-24 visit, had a Blueberry Chipotle BBQchicken sandwich absolutely delicious but very messy and sweet............So, this review dates back about a year., Sept 2023. We initially stopped in when they opened. We tried quite a few things and the food was alright. Service was a little slow but they were very packed and just opened. It wasn't terrible but it was a tad slow. I had a bacon cheeseburger, cactus bites onion rings and we tried various wings. Didn't like em cause they had a buffalo base. I was told that the way they came. We came back May 2024 where it had a crowd but a little more chill. This was a great visit. Bug hats off to Sabrina. Service was absolutely excellent. She was super attentive, patient, super helpful with the menu and made us feel right at home....it's as she's known us forever. With her help I was able to enjoy some wings my way, We decided to order a sampler appetizer and then some wings on the side to compliment it all as a meal. Worked out perfectly. Sampler was aeiole french fries, pretzel bites and onion rings....it was delicious. My wings were plain with a side ok lemon pepper. Wife had her boneless with medium traditional sauce. Turned out to be a great dinner. Service was good enough to get me back there to try something else. But I know who I'm asking for when...

EDIT!!! I went again10/22 but sat at the bar and let me tell you!!! I was disgusted!! My bartender I believe her name was Elma ., she ignored me to go flirt with the manager,,,, got my food wrong, and kept leaving to the bathroom..... very unprofessional. When I asked an employee about the manager he said this happens alot. He helped me get my food correct . His name was Joe or job I'm not sure but the managers name is Luis .. HE SHOULD BE FIRED. unprofessional and disgusting to watch a manager flirt with the bartender.....

I absolutely love their chicken sandwiches and traditional wings!!!! What I love even more than that was our waitress Sabrina!!!! When I tell you this waitress made my kids feel like they were best friends and gave them coloring pages. She would update us on how long our food was taking, prepped us for food before the food arrived, and kept our drinks filled. She checks on us a lot but you can tell she cares about her customers!!! Never coming back this experience was disgusting & food was horrible. To start off with none of the ppl from kitchen were using gloves, one of the cooks that is a big man was grabbing the food w/o gloves & serving it into plates. We caught him scratching his middle part & scratching under his belly multiple time, running his fingers through his hair then again grabbing food 🤢 our food took about 30min, it was cold & wings looked almost black like old wings. Our food was not even a bit warm we are disgusted by this place. We seen alot more, like manager just talking to bartender & not paying attention to kitchen unprofessional employees or even costumers that were waiting long for the food.
