I know I usually don’t come on here to complain about things but the dinner we had yesterday was absolutely terrible. Please DO NOT GO HERE, I used to come here with my dad occasionally when we used to go to lunch together, but after a couple years, it is completely gone downhill. It started off with the server, they are completely forgetting that my boyfriend ordered biscuits with sausage gravy as his bread and came out with two different banana nut breads. Along with the fact that my banana nut bread was missing half the amount of butter that it usually has. that’s fine. Didn’t bother me until the tater tots that he had ordered and the onion rings that we ordered to share had both come out wrong. The onion rings were uncooked and the bacon on the tater tots was hard and burnt. He got some double protein dish with an egg on top and he ordered the egg over medium. It was raw uncooked. I ordered Bob Evans wildfire chicken salad without cheese and tomatoes and add avocado. Along with a side of soup. I never got my soup until I paid (after i asked 6 times) and I never got my avocado. Usually this meal would be about 40 bucks. It was $50+ dollars without tip (i did tip) my boyfriend and I get home and immediately I am hit with such bad stomach pains, which turned out to be me getting sick from eating what I had. It’s around 12 AM. My boyfriend wakes up if he can have some of my soup, of course I told him to go ahead and I go back to sleep. He comes in the room , wakes me up, and tells me that my soup was super clumpy and had multiple hairs in it. At that point, I’m just done. I’m never going back to this location ever, it needs shut down or with better...
Read moreNEVER AGAIN!! I've have been here several times over the past three months due to hospital visits. Time and time again there are issues. Once it was a waitress who brought us the wrong order, we never got served the soup we ordered until after our dinner was half gone, so we refused it. Carrots didn't come with order and then when they were brought out they were half cooked. Other times my turkey dinner came out with two thin ends of turkey on the plate. We usually froze due the air conditioning and today visit with temps at 49 degrees out the air is still blowing. Glad we have coats. We have been waiting as have half the restaurant 45 minutes now for waffles and a cheeseburger. Our first coffee was cold as was my bowl of soup. Not the waitress' (Karly) fault, she is trying to make all her customers happy. She did a great job! We overheard another waitress say they only have one cook working. Too bad it's be repeated like this because we have never had problems like this at...
Read moreWe had three adults and two children and of the 5 meals served, only mine had a problem. I had specifically asked for well done on my skillet breakfast and yet the hash browns were in a poorly cooked lump. Now, this is a sadly common problem with hash browns in my experience, it seems that cooks really have trouble getting them more than barely browned on the outside.
That said, the waitress took my complaint seriously and offered to cook them properly herself which really surprised me. Then the manager came by and personally apologized. Then they gave me a full breakfast, not just the hash browns. (They were nicely browned and cooked all the way through.) For a single, small problem out of five meals, Bob Evans made very sure that I would be returning regularly if I had lived in the area, (I don't even live in the same state), but I will look for another here in Lincoln and give them preference next time I'm looking to do a...
