Rail House Restaurant — Restaurant in Harmar Township

I would give it a zero stars if I could and I guess the fact that our meals weren’t horrible was it’s only saving grace. We were one of two parties seated( when I say seated we walked in, weren’t greeting and had to ask a table of 4 employees sitting talking if we just sit anywhere). Then our waitres took our order(after waiting on her for about 10min while she sat at a table talking to her coworkers), brought our food and that was it. We had to take our cups to the bar to get refills( you think they would have said go have a seat and I’ll bring those back to you but no we had to wait there for them). Then we waited for our check that never came and once again had to go to the bar to pay our bill. Could’ve just walked out and no one would’ve known because our waitress was more concerned about shooting the breeze with the other 5 coworkers. At the bar waited 5 minutes until someone finally asked if I needed something and when the waitress was called over to check us out she said nothing. I also later found out we should have got playing cards for eating there which I never got. There is nothing worth making me go back here. I have honestly never had a worse experience in my entire life it started out with the waitress forgetting sugar for my tea I asked about it 3 times and never got it so 30 mins later I went to the bar to just get a beer with an attitude I was told "why don't you just ask your waitress" when I told her that my waitress wouldn't bring me a beer or sugar the bar tender than ignored me and I sat at the bar for 10 minutes while she refused to serve me. It took me 45 minutes to get my appetizers which were TORTILLA CHIPS AND GUACAMOLE it took 2 hours for the food and still during that entire time no one at our table could get refills on drinks or beer. After we complained to the manager the bartender came to our table and asked us to tell the manager that it was not her fault we declined because clearly she was part of the problem and then the bartender YELLED AT US for five minutes arguing with us 😡..... The manager brought us drinks and our food 2 hours after we orderd but she did apologise however I would never ever recommend going here zone 28 is fun and the games are awsome but your better off eating somewhere else...

We started the night off wrong with mediocre for that was about 20% more then it was worth. The service was not really around, after waiting to get shown a table for a few minutes we sat ourselves at the bar. It took a while to get our food and the order was a bit off, but it was a Tuesday night so it might have been lightly staffed even though it didn't seem to be. The food itself was probably the worst part of the night. The fries were great in concept, lightly battered and not over cooked, but by the time they got to my table they were tepid. The Hawaiian burger was pretty good but I am going to stick with 20% overpriced statement. I really feel like the ingredients were there but the staff didn't deliver, which might not be their fault necessarily.

In summary I will try this place again in a couple months because it is attached to Zone 28 which was a pretty fun...
