Denny's — Restaurant in Harmar Township

Hello, I am only giving it 3 stars because the food is generally good but I do have a complaint to make about a server named Heather in the harmarville location. She is not the nicest person. I take my family out to eat on Tuesdays and Thursdays because kids eat free. A mother has to save money somehow. We have been going consistently but lessened over how she has treated me. The first time was a few months ago we were finished eating, leaving our table. She was cleaning other tables and said very loudly for us not to come back as other people could overhear. And other comments I do not recall. But I have spoke to the manager that day and she told me this waitress does not like many people like that is excusable and should have be put through that. This waitress did my bill and even tried overcharging me for 2 kids meals. I've never been charged for any 3 of my kids because 2 kids per 1 adult are free and I always come with their father which makes all of mine free. She argued with the manager my bill was right and even she questioned it. She noticed it was not and corrected my total. Currently, this past Tuesday October 25th I was meeting with my family. I came into the restaurant, was seated. As this same waitress who seems to have some problem with me, walked over. Looked at me and said "oh no I am not serving you. You can leave. I'm the only one here." So when my sister and my mother joined up with me. I relayed what she said and we walked out. My mom and my sister are phenomenal tippers to as they worked in the service industry all their life so she missed out as she walked us walk out the door. It's the principle of the matter, you never speak badly of customers at all. I don't cause a scene, I'm not disruptive so I have no clue what her deal is with me. And in this world at this time of age, I know that there are people who don't want to work so companies like these keep people regardless of their demeanor. And that's not okay. It's wrong. Went there and waited at least 20 minutes before anyone actually came to ask about drinks, by then we already knew what we wanted so we ordered as well.. another 20 minutes passed and waitress finally came out with only 1 drink? Another 15 minutes later she finally brought out the other 2 drinks (it's about 11 pm-midnight by this time so it's basically dead, its us and one other table) and we're sitting waiting for our meals and 35 minutes after the second round of drinks she comes and puts our plates down and skitters off immediately no questions or anything, we had only 2 sets of Silverware and she never came back. My friends each ate dry pancakes and dry French toast with nothing on them as they didnt bring butter or syrup or anything and no one was even around to ask.. I ordered berry crepes which were very good which is why I gave the food 3 stars. We had to go find someone for the check as, like I said, our waitress NEVER came back and there was absolutely novody around... not really pleased with the...

We stopped here to eat around 8pm on a Saturday night (the restaurant was empty with maybe 3 tables in use) waited 10 minutes just to get a table once we were sat we were handed menus and ordered drinks took about 5 to 7 minutes to get the drinks we ordered and waited another 15-20 for the food grand slam and pancake puppies. Never got any refills on the drinks even though our cups sat empty saw our actual waiter all the more of 2 times, I tried to wave a different waiter down but he decided answering his phone call was more important than a customer. Finally had to wave down the waitress at a different table and got boxes and our checks when I went to pay I had to wait another 5-7minutes to pay the bill when I complained they did take $2 off my bill but I don't think I will be coming back to this Denny's. Which is quite disappointing because I grew up across the train tracks from here and loved going to Denny's growing up but it has changed quite alot since...
