Gino's Petit Dejeuner Breakfast — Restaurant in Harmar Township

Accidentally found this little gem preparing to go to Denny's for breakfast one Saturday morning.

There was a wait, 15-20 minutes. Hostess was welcoming and very nice.

Place is small but clean and nicely decorative.

Not your traditional breakfast joint as you'll see when you look at the menu.

Prices aren't cheap but worth it. The coffee selection are not what you would expect. Yes, you can get traditional coffee, regular and decaf. You must look at the coffee selections, there are items you wouldn't expect and the coffee is very good.

Food is very good, tasty, wife liked that the omelette, which was a variety of meat, was chopped up nicely so you got a little bit of each with every bite. The egg wrapping the omelette was thin and just enough to wrap it perfectly. What was odd.bit also refreshing was that you got a salad with your omelette..odd yes, but great addition... who would have thought.

The banana pancakes were good, and when you combined it with the whipped cream, awesome.

We also ordered a fresh fruit cup..this is what a fruit cup should be, melon, strawberries, blue berries and grapes freshly cut up and cold.

Perfect.

My experience at Gino's Petit Dejeuner was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the charming decor and the welcoming atmosphere. I'm even on the hunt to find a dining table like theirs for my home! Their coffee selection is superb, each variety I tried was rich and perfectly brewed, a true delight for coffee enthusiasts.

The food is a perfect blend of sweet and savory, satisfying all taste preferences. The scrambled eggs with bacon and cheese are a standout - easily the best I've ever tasted, they simply melt in your mouth! Every dish we tried was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor.

The staff deserve a special mention for their attentiveness and kindness, enhancing our dining experience with their impeccable service. Despite its popularity, the place wasn’t overcrowded, which made our meal even more enjoyable. Plus, the convenience of ample parking and a great location just adds to the list of pros.

The food was good but they need to get their processes down better to make the experience faster and better for the customers. When we first came in, it took several minutes for anyone to acknowledge us even though we were looked at numerous times by multiple servers. When we ordered a French press, it was placed on our table without any sort of instruction from the waitress at all, like "I'll be back in 5 minutes to press this" or "you can press this in 5 minutes." Speaking of the French press, it was assembled improperly. The dry grounds were put on top of the hot water and not stirred. After about 7 minutes, the water was still very clear. It wasn't until I decided myself to take off the lid and stir the grounds that the coffee finally started to penetrate into the water properly. The food was good but it took a good 30 minutes or more to come out. The entire time we ate, are our waitress did not check on us even once. My wife had to flag down a different waitress just to get a take-home box for her food. I liked the food, but I'm on the fence about whether to go back, because the rest of the experience was...
