Lagerhaus Bakery — Restaurant in Harmony

With regret, this is the second time at this bakery. First time was over a year ago with a like experience. Last year I was not impressed but my wife liked what she got. This time it was just me. I was literally on a mission to get breakfast and spend money local. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, muffin and coffee. The sandwich was good. Sausage egg and cheese all homemade like. It was large enough that I could only eat one and it was fresh. I ate the entire thing it was good! The muffin which originally I thought was blueberry turned out to be blackberry, was okay at best. The inside wasn't cooked all the way and the outside was dry. I don't think I've ever thrown a muffin away in my entire life and if you look at me you would notice that I look like a guy who's never thrown a muffin away in his entire life... This was a first. The coffee was okay and I spent about $10. I would try it again they say the third...

Can’t get enough of this quaint little bakery and coffee shop. The owners and their daughter are so sweet and truly take pride in their business. Just the plain cup of coffee is absolutely delicious but they also make flavored lattes, if you’re looking for something different. The pastries are freshly baked daily, and I couldn’t believe the variety: cakes, pies, bars, cookies, scones, biscotti, etc. My favorite is the raspberry bar, but I haven’t tried anything there that I dislike. I believe they also have cafe-type food (sandwiches). If you can get a better cup of coffee or latte for cheaper than a chain coffee shop, why not support a local business? Another perk is the ambiance! It’s cute inside, and there are also outdoor tables for when the weather is nice. You won’t be disappointed if you give this...

What a “sweet” shop!

Such a great piece of the history of Harmony, PA. We were told this bakery was once the General Store. I could just imagine it as I walked through the door.

The worker was very polite and helpful as he took our order. We ordered a few drinks and some yummy baked goods!

The decor of the building gives you a natural, vintage feel. Gorgeous couches with pillows, wooden tables and chairs, a fireplace area. You can even grab a book, board game ir cards provided.

We really enjoyed our drinks and sweets and would definitely return and highly recommend to others!
