This dairy queen is THE BEST dairy queen around. I love dairy queen blizzards and have been to probably every single one from grove city to pittsburgh and all inbetween. I challenge anyone to go here and get a blizzard anyone of your choice and then go to any or all of the ofther ones like i have and i bet the bank this WILL BE the very best one you EVER went to. They put the right amount of candy and ice cream in your blizzard and they arent cheap about it. After i went here a couple times then was in a different county and had to go to a different one i actually had to ask where the candy was and even after they fixed it and added more you still could barely see any candy. So it was like eating plain vanilla ice cream. Not here in the DQ in zeli i even have them special make mine by adding some of the icing they make to put on their cakes on top of it mmmm its sooo good. But they can only do that on the days the lady who makes the cakes is there. Theres a charge for it but its well worth it and they are the only DQ that will do that for me. So i challenge everyone who reads this. Drive the extra few miles and try this DQ i personally bet you it WILL be the very BEST blizzard you EVER got or hell ill reimburse you lol. Trust me theres a line here in the winter for a reason. Also i do not work here or for DQ in any way nor do i own this or any DQ. This one is just really the best one you will ever go to and its worth the exta 40 min ride. Try it youll...
Read moreMy usual order is a large vanilla cone. Nothing fancy, nothing complicated.
I knew they were minutes (like there's more fingers on your hand than there were minutes till they closed) away from closing when I got there. When I got to the counter they told me that they were closed. I responded saying that I was only after a vanilla cone and I was paying with a card. They were awesome and I got my ice cream. I know they weren't thrilled for someone to walk in when I did, but they weren't rude or made me feel like they were irritated I was there. Even when they said they were closed it was in an apologetic tone.
Thanks again guys.
I've worked enough retail jobs and if you're going into a place close to closing time; as the customer you should be quick - know what you're after, uncomplicated - don't try to specialize, polite - they've been working all day and want...
Read moreOne of the workers (a manager, I believe) was not wearing a mask and spent too much time talking to her similarly unmasked friend. All I wanted was to ask if the bathrooms were available to use for non-customers and it took about ten minutes for someone competent to even show up at the front so I could ask them about the bathroom. Due to the terrible service and my uncomfortability with the unmasked worker and customer, I opted to not get ice cream. I felt unsafe in the restaurant, unsatisfied with how long it took for someone to show up when the manager was chatting with her friend instead of working, and in an all-around bitter mood from how long it took to be told I could use the dang bathroom. If the staff feel so lax about ignoring state regulations on wearing masks so covid doesn't spread as fast, I don't trust the sanitization of the...
