No restaurant is perfect, BUT! I usually measure the quality of a fast food place, by the make up of the staff, by AGE.
The only time things have worked out well, is when the staff I see working appear to be over the age of 30 & even then, it's not promised.
I've learned The HARD WAY, to check my order on the spot as soon as I receive it!
I ordered a Frisco Breakfast sandwhich once and drove off. Since I live about 5 minutes away, as soon as I got home, I looked at my sandwhich and...
There WASN'T ANY HAM on it!!!
For those who may not be familiar with that sandwhich, it's "Texas toast" bread / egg / cheese & ham. There's even pictures of the sandwhich on their menu where you order from!
HOW DO YOU FORGET THE HAM?!!
Another occasion, I picked up food, on my way to work and was running a little late. I ordered a Five Dollar All Star meal (double cheeseburger & spicy chicken sandwhich).
I got to work... My fries were just dumped in the box (not in a sleeve) & then I SPECIFICALLY ASKED & HAD IT CONFIRMED: No Onions on my burger and No mayo, on my chicken sandwich. It even reflected that on my receipt!
Of course, it didn't go down that way...
The two male employees I saw working, both looked to be UNDER the age of 21. Plus, should be way easier to prepare food, when you don't have to add any extra ingredients?
Either way... Even though "the Fate of the Free World" didn' t hang in the balance, they still should have paid MORE attention to details and prepared my order as I requested it!!!
The ONLY SAVING GRACE, was that I called back and spoke to a woman named "April". She took my name amd assured me, that they would remake my order, if I came back.
The next day I went back and they did it. April wasn't working, but did leave my info.
From now on, if I ever eat here? I will see who is working.
If they look as if they are about 2-3 years removed from High School? I won't stay!
The ONLY PLACE i'll trust to eat at with younger employees, is Chik-fil-a! But never...
Read moreSlow and confused is what I will call the staff. Went there today to get a quick bite to eat at the drive through. Waited about 15 minutes to get my food. Doing a quick check before leaving everything looked fine until I got home and found that my moonshine burger box contained a ham and cheese. Tried calling three times to report the error got a fax machine the first time, then an immediate hang up, then a busy signal. On the fourth try got through and was told to come back and pick it up. Upon getting there I walked inside and it was not really busy. Going to the counter I mentioned the call and everyone looked like a deer in headlights and stared at each other.
While I was waiting for 30 minutes I noticed no communication, multiple orders were wrong/missing items. A quick look into the kitchen from the walkway the place look nasty. Needless to say I will...
Read moreThis restaurant has been really bad since COVID. They have never returned to regular hours. Every time I pass by and think, let's grab a bite, their lobby is closed early, or the entire store is closed at insanely normal business hours. We tried to eat there tonight, but the store was closed at a little past 7:00PM on a Tuesday.
Update: Hardee's reached out and explained the situation to me. They are struggling to hire enough people to staff the restaurant. It seems it's just the way it is these days, hard to hire people to work. I can't blame them for that, they are trying their best from what I could tell from our conversation. April was wonderful to speak with and we are going to try again to eat at this location. If they can keep staffed, it is a good restaurant and the...
