To start off the food isn't that bad, I'll say it is not as authentic as China Garden on 601, but it's still OK food. On the other hand the service is terrible. I called up at exactly 559pm and ordered the family and I some food, we were on the phone for a minute and a half and they told me I would have it between 45 and 60 mins. Which I was fine with cause it was delivery on a Friday night. After the hour had passed I waited a little longer but after it still had not arrived I called up at 710pm. The lady on the phone apologized and told me that the driver had already left and should be there any second. Which I was fine with but after we continued to wait I called back up at 730pm. After talking to the same Lady again she told me that the driver did leave when we talked originally and she would call him and call me back. After another 10 minutes went by the driver pulled up. 1 hour and 40 minutes after I called originally. I asked the driver how long ago he left..he told me that I was his first stop and it couldn't be anymore than 10 mins. I thanked him and told him what had happened and he said "no I definitely only left maybe 10mins ago if that." My conclusion is that the lady on the phone - which seemed to be the manager or owner(because the phone was handed to her at 730pm when I was not happy about receiving my dinner yet for her to do damage control) - had ultimately lied to me about the driver leaving. She chose not even giving me the decency of telling me that they had gotten really busy and that the driver had not left yet - But instead lied to the paying customer and made him wait for an hour and forty minutes. I have owned a restaurant in the past and understand getting busy but I never lied to my customer. For this reason I will never go back here. Like I said the food was ok but lying to me is not okay. I'm done and I will not be buying...
Read moreI hadn't ordered from this restaurant in over a year, and while the food is usually grade A quality, it wasn't at all today. However, what was most upsetting is that I called in an order for a chicken wing combo expecting to pay the price listed on the menu for lunch specials, but when I got to the restaurant to pick up my order, I was charged an additional $1. The extra charge was supposedly due to the restaurant's chicken supplier increasing their cost on the product. Sure, it was only $1, but it was so disrespectful for the (fairly decent english speaking) employee who took my order not to mention the additional charge over the phone when I first called the order in. While at the register, I questioned my total, and they merely directed me to a little sign explaining that it would be $1 extra for any orders that included chicken wings. Unfortunately, I couldn't see the sign over the phone when I was placing my order. But since I didn't feel like arguing with an Asian -because we all know they can sometimes be quick tempered - and I was too hungry to fight over $1, so I opted for this review instead. I might consider ordering from here again in 2022 or post Covid-19, whichever comes first. That should give them time to work things out with their 🐔 wings supplier. BTW, their egg rolls were...
Read moreActually not bad at all. EXCEPT for the fact that the D29 dinner combo for chicken, beef, and shrimp has a 2 SHRIMP MAXIMUM. Hopefully, no MSG. Not detecting any so far. The interaction was typical Chinese aboriginal American congeniality, i.e., nice enough to get the money. There was flavor as far as Americanized Chinese food goes as it is what it is. Yes, I would eat there again..... I think. Not all are good, not all are bad. It's just good ones in Charlotte are scavenger hunts. The best Chinese I've ever had was in Spain because the quality of food is superior and the it tasted clean but with flavor that wouldbring tears to the eyes. The FuShing establishment was clean, had up the proper plandemic protocals for the public distancing, and the food was packaged in some decent plastic containers that I can start my ginger and garlic growing. My other gripe aside from the 2 shrimp maximum is that it is nowhere near my neck of the woods. I would 1/2 a 4th start but I'm being petry for the petty amount of shrimp where I paid full price. But, it's a flavorful experience worth trying. Btw, my daughter likes the beef and broccoli and ate...
