The food was amazing (as usual) but this experience I had there was unlike any other time of me coming here. The woman behind the counter was looking as if she didn’t want me there. I peeped that right off the rip. I really didn’t care about her feelings or dirty looks, I was only ordering food for my husband and my mom and brother so I really didn’t care. I asked were there oxtails, to which she said, “no”. I seen some type of meat that looked similar to oxtails, sauce and all… so I figured maybe my husband would like that instead. So I politely asked, “excuse me, what is that?” She frowned her face up. Like I was in trouble. I said, “I get you guys don’t have oxtails but these look pretty good”. She rolled her eyes and didn’t tell me anything. So I began telling her the rest of the things I needed for my mom and my brother. I spent $50 that night. Easily. I was told they charge extra for only ordering rice from the menu. I complied and paid $20 for a container full of yellow rice. I love the food here and the family here has always treated me like family and now this lady is here and I feel like oh well I gotta find another Spanish restaurant around here. Yikes. Great food though, great fried...

I've been coming here since I was in the 3rd grade. Safe to say I'm 30 now lol I Love coming here. There food is always fresh and delicious! I love that you get a bang for your buck too. Never disappointed when I come here. I usually get the arroz con gandules w/ pernal (add the skin PLEASEEE) and chicken gravy over the rice. My favorite home cooked dish. BEST FRIED CHICKEN OKAY?! But call to check first because they run out quick. Love that it's quick, close by, and convenient.

Food is delicious, I drive an hour at least once a week to get food there for the family. I always ask for a side of juice so we can add it to our food so it’s not dry when we get home and we can get the full experience. I’m not sure what was wrong but for some reason today I was told that they can’t give me a side with my orders cause other customers may want some juice as if I wasn’t a customer. I offered to pay for the 2 sides of juice and the gentleman said it’s not the cost other customers may want some. It’s crazy I’ve never experienced that before so me and my family will...
