El Patron is a casual little restaurant serving primarily take out orders. Highly suggest you call your order in ahead of arrival. At noon on a rainy Wednesday, it was fairly busy with just two people working the counter and doing the cooking. The Patron Platter included steak, chicken breast, and 5 good sized shrimp, along with refried beans, yellow rice, guacamole, roasted green pepper, green onion and freshly made tortillas. A very filling meal. The meat was well done and tender. My food lacked much flavor. For someone watching sodium levels, that was a good thing. Be sure to ask for the hot sauces and any additional seasonings you want. Steak tacos had shredded seasoned steak topped with cilantro with lime wedges and hot sauce provided. Milder red hot sauce and more intense green hot sauce. El Patron also serves pizza and stromboli. Shrimp stromboli is also on the menu but not calzone as depicted on the window decoration. The pepperoni pizza was very good with plenty of cheese and pepperoni thoroughly cooked and slightly crispy. There is a wide variety of cold drinks offered in the refrigerators and fountain drinks. Cheerful Mexican music plays and there is a colorful decor. There are about half a dozen tables for eating there. They also have several games of chance available. The servers ( owners?) are very pleasant, friendly and efficient. There is plenty of parking, it's handicap accessible and easy to find right in the corner by the red light. I recommend El Patron for authentic...
Read moreFood was great! I got the steak, al pastor, and chicken tacos. All delicious. The steak was my favorite. My kids had the chicken burritos and said they were good and my friend said she enjoyed the shrimp tacos. We shared a piece of sweet bread and it was a hit as a appetizer. We were also giving complimentary chips and a mild salsa to snack on while our food was being prepared all tasted fresh. The homemade salsa that came out with the food were a bit spicy but very enjoyable with my tacos. The green one was my favorite. I had to take off a star because the food behind the counter (precooked) looked old and the rice looked dried out. Also had to deduct for the atmosphere. It's just a bit run down but maybe once people realize how good the food is here then they can invest more money into the appearance of the dining room. Overall we had a great experience and recommend. The guy who waited on us was amazing and accommodating. He explained everything and came back and checked on us. Parking lot is easy and there was baywatch on the TV which my kids seemed to...

The food is authentically Mexican, and the flavors were absolutely amazing. We ordered three El Patron Fajitas, and each bite was a delightful mix of perfectly seasoned meats and fresh vegetables. Accompanying our meal, we enjoyed three Big Horchatas, which were the perfect refreshing complement to our meal.
