Our food was good, however we waited quite a while..and there weren't many people in the restaurant..We had tickets to see Kendell Marvel outside for the summer bath. So I am figuring they were very much unprepared for such an event. The ceilings were painted black and the lighting very dim. I couldn't read a menu. Our food was good once again. I got up to use the restroom this was 4.15ish on a Saturday evening before a large crowd that night. The restroom was OUT OF ORDER. One website posted 4pm for the concert, and one page posted 5pm and that's what our tickets said too. 5pm. I messaged and got no response of what exact time does this event start. We've driven 1hr and 30minutes and crossed a ferry. Don't get me wrong, my food was good, we were a paying customer ...I needed to use the restroom, and we've gotten here so early for a.concert...its now 7oclock..I still need a restroom so badly it's not funny. Now to find out that kendell marvel doesnt start until 9pm!!9pm!! We got here at 4.00. Once I heard soundmen say 9, we left and started walking the streets of this small town. I finally found a convenient store several blocks down that I used the restroom at. In my opinion, if you are sponsoring an outside event of any sort the sponsor or whomever is organizing this event should have portable restrooms available on the corners etc. I've been here now for 5 hours. I've walked several blocks THROUGHOUT town ...in see ZERO portable restrooms..no signs for restrooms if they were to have been hidden in an offset location. Kendell Marvel was a great band. However I feel if Morello's is the sponsor of this, they did sell tickets for this event summer downtown Bash. They should most certainly have restrooms outside to accommodate the several thousand people that were there. Kendell Marvel is nearly a hometown guy for this area, and they should have expected a large crowd, even by ticket sales...
Read moreVisited on a Sunday afternoon. Took a few minutes for us to be acknowledged and given a table. We were given two menus, the regular menu and a weekend menu. We ordered from the weekend menu-the catfish. The description said it came with hush puppies, coleslaw and fried potatoes. We were asked what we wanted as a side. Then we were told that the hush puppies, slaw, and fried potatoes were only available on Friday and Saturday. We were offered salads, and gave our dressing choice. We also ordered an appetizer of fried green tomatoes. The appetizer was awesome. The waitress came and plopped our entrees on the table and asked if we needed anything as she was already walking away, so didn't hear the request for ketchup. We wondered where the salad was. About this time, we tried to get the attention of someone we thought might be a manager, and we were ignored. We ate our meal, went to pay. Had to wait there also. When we mentioned the salad, our waitress, who also checked us out, said "I'm sorry, the salad girl was supposed to bring that out. I didn't notice that she hadn't." She did take the salads off the bill. Needless to say, we are very dissatisfied with our visit and will not be returning in the future. I find it hard to believe that a weekend menu only includes Friday and Saturday, and if so, then why hand it out on Sunday. I gave two stars only because the appetizer was delicious. The waitress could have cared less about serving us, and it showed. No water...
Read moreOn our first date my friend raved about how good this place was and here's what happened. While waiting for our lasagna, which took for ever, the hostess brings us the bill, I looked at him then her and then told her we haven't even ate yet. She returned later and said "I got the wrong table" no apology . The busboy took the salad bowls and was friendly and polite. He was the only one in there that was! The only time the waitress showed up was with food and the bill. The other waitresses seemed to make time for their customers. As we were finishing our nearly meatless and bland lasagna, my date said "look what I just got out of my straw", he was drinking unsweet tea with lemon. We don't know what it was but it was not from the lemon. When the waitress showed up with the bill I showed her and she asked if we wanted to speak to the manager and we said yes. After waiting 15mins we decided to pay the bill and leave. After paying the bill the assistant manager showed up and offered coupons. I refused the coupons because I WILL NEVER WASTE GOOD MONEY ON BAD FOOD, A BAD WAITRESS AND UNCONCERNED ASST. MANAGER AGAIN! FAZOLI'S would have probably been better! IT'S SAD THAT I HAVE TO GIVE A STAR TO...
