Niko's Pizza — Restaurant in Harrisburg

So this place is truly awesome. The owner is coolest pizza shop owner you'll ever meet. Way down to earth. The prices are reasonable, the service is phenomenal and the food is delicious 😋. What more could you ask for? He's open late on weekends. Gives a good deal here and there on large orders. And most of all, the staff are just good people. Tip the lady up front!...she works like every day all day crazy hours and is sweet as can be!! I work right across the street from this place so I used to be there all the time. The white pizza is the best I've ever had and even the plain cheese slices are significantly better than most around pa...and I'm used to NY pizza!! On an absolutely FRIGID day, my son and I walked from the Harrisburg Tower to here. As it happens, it was also the day that the city held their Fire and Ice street fair and the bandstand was just outside the door. We could feel the music through the walls!

This is your typical 'shoe-horned' restaurant. It was warm and the staff/owners talked to you like you've been friends since their great grandparents came over on the boat!

We ordered Philly Cheese steaks and they were delivered by a little old lady.

I'm not an expert, but I was always under the impression that the subs were served on crusty rolls. These were served on Italian bread, causing the flavors to be very sweet. It was DELICIOUS! I can't wait to try more food next...

Place was clean..bathroom as well. Food tastes fresh.(ham & provolone).Also the cheeseburger hoagie was great,I had to steal some from my woman when she expressed how good it was..(she yelled st me).Owner and staff were excellent hosts. Prices were standard..unlike competition all on this strip. The occasional drunk would show up is the only downfall..being sober and skilled..they were put in their place quickly by me and the owner saw nothing. Highly recommended..just not on a late fri...
