Rookie's Craft Burger Bar — Restaurant in Harrisburg

I was floored with how amazing the experience was. I have a family member with an intellectual disability who wanted a burger and I wanted to bring him to a place he wouldn’t normally get to go.

I’m so glad I chose this place!!! They were very willing, accommodating to my family member when we asked to sit in an area others weren’t seated (making more work for them since they now had to check another area) and the burgers were beyond delicious!!! We both agreed they were some of the best we’ve ever had in the area if not the best!

The server (I think her name was Alexis) was kind and made suggestions with our meal that made the experience even better!!!

None of this even mentions the pricing. Very reasonable and quite frankly cheap. I saw another review critical of the price, but for this level of quality I expected it to be more expensive. I suppose this does come down to expectations to some degree.

This was my first time at Rookies. My bf loves burgers but not all burgers, so when he took me here I took his word that the burgers were good but OMG it was soooooo good! Crab dip bread bowl fantastic, jalapeno poppers with cream cheese and a special dipping sauce were like my favorites from a bar long shut down. I got a build your own burger med with 3 cheeses an egg let Tom and ranch. It was huge and maybe the best burger I've had in a very long time. The customer service rep nia is the most rudest bartender I have ever encountered. She is not professional at all. The way she responded to my mother in law when she asked to get her order replaced because she asked for parm wings and not bbq was beyond disrespectful. She literally said and what’s wrong with it. I asked for gravy cheese fries together and she gave me yes the gravy fries but a small size of cheese that looked as if it was old. When I told her about it, this was a big issue.
