I had heard such great things about Triple Cats so when I went to try it out for the first time last night with a few of my friends it was not the visit I had expected. I arrived there early so I decided to get the table before my friends got there. Waited nearly 20 minutes to get seated which wouldn’t have been a problem if that was the end of it. After we were seated our waitress took our drink order and while all three of my friends received their drinks immediately, I had to wait 30 minutes before getting my drink, even after asking a second time it wasn’t until another waiter came over to check on the table and I told him I was still without a drink. That’s absolutely unacceptable. Then, our wings and fries took about 40 minutes to come out, and when it did one of the people in our group’s order was incorrect. The rest of ours were fine. Just your standard wings, nothing special. We had to stop another waiter to have them resolve the issue of the incorrect wings because we couldn’t find our server. When expressing the problem the server, our friend was treated as though she was just trying to get her to shut up so he didn’t have to deal with and walked away while she was still trying to explain what was wrong to him. Although he took her food off, we were not apologized to for the long wait, horrible service, or incorrect food. Three of the four in our group are servers ourselves so we know the basic standard that should be provided. Not sure if this was just an off night for Triple Cats, but I’m certainly not interested in giving it another chance after this...
Read moreI have to write this I can't let it go. For the Owner I'm absolutely appalled at the way you have answered some of your not so happy customers. Your attitude is awful and that right there is the reason why your business may be getting so many bad reviews. I understand things have been hard since Covid it played a role in everything and finding people to work is hard. But talking to people the way you have isn't the answer either. I was in your establishment before Covid 4 years ago after moving into our new house in the area after moving from another part of town. I will tell you that I was ignored after walking in to get a beer by your male bartender and 2 waitresses. It wasn't really busy at 4:45 pm on a Friday either, and after 15 min I gave up until my Husband met me. He went to the bar and got me a beer because your male bartender wouldn't give me the time of day and my Husband waited another 10 min for it. We did not bother to stay for dinner we went elsewhere. I wasn't a regular and I did not know any of your staff by name, but I did say excuse me several times to try and get his attention and the ladies with no luck. I can tell you just from your review's things haven't changed, and I will tell you I haven't been back. I'm trying to be honest and polite so maybe think...
Read moreLast night was our first time here; my husband and I were staying in town overnight from Indy. We wanted a pub-type restaurant with good food. So glad we followed the reviews! We sat the bar and even though the kitchen had a hold on orders because they were so busy, Jodi and Brennan at the bar kept us company and served up cold beer with a smile (among the many types of drafts offered, Kentucky Bourbon Ale was my pick). My husband spilled something on his sleeve and Brennan quickly handed him soda water to help clean it up. There were so many options on the menu and we were hungry! We settled on the famous wings (Sriracha Bourbon) and sweet potato fries. Man-o-man was it good! The wings had a unique, fantastic, fresh flavor with plenty of meat on the bone; the fries could have been dessert they were so amazing. Did I say the prices were very good! The atmosphere was just right too. The background music was good but not too loud so folks could easily carry on conversations. Laid back and casual was the vibe. Too bad we don't live closeby. Triple Cats would definitely be our...
