Los Ebanos — Restaurant in Harrison

I really shouldn't complain with discount food but ording takeout here was an absolute disaster! Clip notes: difficult staff, unedible food, and non sanitary/ gross. Full review below - I do believe this experience is my own and was just for takeout. The food being served to tables smelled good and seemed better. First, trying to order on the phone was so frustrating. I couldn't understand the lady on the phone which honestly thought was just a language barrier. I tried so many times to order additional food such as sides and the lady just said we have sm or lg. She repeatedly said this. SIDES NOT SIZES! When I continuously tried to say sides and explain I was asking what other ITEMS do you have that could go with my quesodilla, she proceeded to tell me about how they had 8oz, 16oz, 36oz. OF WHAT?!?! She told me she didn't understand. I told her just forget it and I'd just order the quesodillas by themselves. I told her i was vegetarian so just one cheese and if they could put some veggies in the other. After arriving I noticed all staff (not trying to be racist) were very very white which lead me confused as why ordering over the phone was so difficult. The lady at the register seemed more that I was an inconvenience to her and wouldn't even talk to me. She was grumpy and when I asked if I could pay she called for the male staff to take over. He was very nice and was much better. I asked how much some guacamole would be and they said $5!!!! I waited 30 minutes for two quesodillas which I was fine with until I walked out the door. I thought I was getting what most imagine quesodillas to be. Once I opened my order in the car I was so very disappointed! I got two mini tortillas; small taco sized. One was opened up, the cheese not even melted, and the veggies coated in 3 different types of meat partials. The other one was just cheese but was stiff and rubbery. I ripped it in half and the cheese was gray. I wish I got a picture from opening it all the way up 🤮 I believe their grill was just disgusting. It was unedible and just went straight to the trash. I went directly to Taco Bell as I now had no more time on an hour...

Waste of time if going alone to dinne, they put you by the service door away of everywhere, if ask if speak spanish they dont answer, they get you a cooker that don't listen your question just start selecting things related to it, when requested several times to get the previous server they just look at you like trash.

Asked what meats can be ordered on the Burrito Meal and that cooker put in Bean Burrito Meal instead of answering question, requested it been carnitas since it say "selection of protein" but seems there is no selection, then been asked what cheese and given strange options on it when it only say to come with rice, bean, salad and cheese.

You can't select on what it ask for selecting, but where it dont show any option for selecting it require to select something that isnt even on the menu mention.

Of all the good mexican places from the area, can't say on food since what I wanted from the menu seems wasn't part of the menu, but this one win the...

12/27/21-Third visit was tonight, and the service was very disappointing. My order included the lettuce and Pico de Gallo I had requested to omit. I wanted to then order a side of sour cream, since mine had lettuce in it, but I never got the opportunity, since our server never came back to ask if we needed anything, and no drink refills were offered, either. My husband ordered fajitas, which he finally ate without the tortillas, since the food was starting to get cold. Apparently, the Door Dash orders are top priority. Won't be going back any time soon. Tonight was our first time trying this restaurant, and we were pleasantly surprised! The decor was pretty, and soothing, the food was super! (No onions in the ground beef, OR the rice!!) Price about the same as the other local Mexican...
