We went there on a suggestion of other business owner in town. Because we like supporting local small business. When we got there it had a wait. That's ok. It must be good? When we got our table it took 15 mins for wait staff to come to the table. My husband ordered stuffed French toast. She asked if he wanted strawberries he agreed. I ordered omelette with bacon smothered with cheese. I had grit since I don't eat bread. And. I wanted my hash browns crispy on both sides. So did we get? Hubby got regular old French toast with strawberries. He said it was yummy even if he didn't get what he ordered. Mine was well, so disappointing. The omelette was more crepe like, loaded with grease dripping old bacon. And it wasn't smother in cheese. The hash browns was leftover burnt shed hash browns And the plate was dripping in grease. The cold grits was the best thing on my plate. A woman a cross from me ordered the same meal and it looked yummy but, I liked my hash browns brown better on both side. We only seen our waitress 3 times. Order taking, food drop and ticket drop. I heard how there is white pride in Harrison and saw the sign as we came into town As I looked around the packed dining nothing but white. So makes me wonder did we step into one of those backward thinking places? The customer service, listen skills, the poor looking/tasting food need some attention, or was it just us? The place is cute. When we pass through again we pick a ethnic small...
Read moreBeing in Harrison Arkansas was definitely a bit scary considering the background of the city and what it’s known for on social media. My friends and I, who were in northern Arkansas for a weekend camping trip from Texas decided to come to Harrison and see what it’s all about, after doing some shopping at Walmart we came here for lunch. Changed my whole perspective of Harrison, AR. Staff was very very friendly, food we got were good sized portions, I got the chicken tenders with fries, fries were crispy, not too salty, and the tenders were just amazing. I asked for an extra piece of toast and a side of mashed potatoes and gravy, the server didn’t even charge me for them. The prices are great. She was a sweet old lady, and was absolutely the kindest. The bathroom was quite clean, most diners don’t pay attention to sanitation. The only problems I had were, when I got a glass of water, there was a small piece of dirt in my ice, and the silverware wasn’t the cleanest. Other than that, I’d definitely love to come back sometime in the future and visit here again. Love the food, love the service. Could be...
Read moreThis was our first trip here. Overall, was excellent! I will be back every single time I go through that area!!!!
PRO'S: *Great menu selection. *The Southwest Omelet was AMAZING in every way!!!!!! This was hands down the best omelet I've ever had at any eatery I've eaten at. I give the omelet alone 10 stars!!!! *Portions are plentiful. You do not leave hungry. *Server was excellent!!! (I forgot to get her name) *Food was excellent temp. Everything hot and delicious! *The biscuits were the best ever!!!!!!! Hands down the best biscuit I've ever eaten at an eatery. They were even better than the amazing biscuits at the Magnolia Table in Waco, and those were delicious. (Joanna Gaines' eatery) *Zero wait time. (I hear this is not normal because they are so popular)
CON'S: *Seating is a somewhat cramped. *Hash browns were plain without seasoning.
If I could give this place ten stars based on this...
