it pains me to give a review like this. my father and i have ate here our whole lives. well i wanted to share our experiences here with my family. and in my 22 years eating at this establishment this was the worst experience ive ever had here. when we came in we were in a hurry to get out of the house after i got home from work. well my wife had her house clothes on and i just had my work pants and a sweatshirt. well everything was good untill we sat down and about after 10 minutes of enjoying our meal we only seen our waitress twice. once when she wrote her name on our receipt and the next time was half an hour later to finally refill my drink. which i tried to get multiple waitresses attention after 5 minutes of a cup full of ice. our waitresses name was julia. but seemed like the 2 others and ours who i tried getting their attention were more concerned with getting out on time than the actual customers they were supposed to be serving. i was always raised to give tips no matter the situation but this was one time i could not. i believe the only ones that deaerved my money was the cooks because they were the ones who keep that place running. tonight wasnt even as busy as it usually is. maybe a dozen cars in the parking lot. what made us leave so quickly was about 6 or 7 minutes after i seen our waitress for the final time to refill my drink i was going to go get desert for me and my son. well i know they dont like you going up with a dirty plate so i waited for our waitress, or any for that matter. after close to 15 minutes of still no waitress i seen a desert storm vetern walk up to the waitresses station go to the counter to make his own drink and get steak sauce. at that point i was appalled because there was still no waitress around. todays date is 10/24/18 we spent 43 minutes in here. i understand if it was busy. but when it was practically dead in the parking lot and no waitress to be found and that vetern going up and doing that it made me loose faith in this place and it will be a little while untill i return here. i hope management sees my review and holds a training meeting for the waitresses. or atleast talks with ours and the ones working that night. my favourite waitress was off tonight but next time i come back ill make sure she is ours. i have been in customer service for 6 years now holding multiple positions and if customers are not happy...

First, our waitress was great. That's where it ended. We went in and ordered two food bars, an unsweetened tea with lemon and a diet Pepsi without ice. I asked if the salad bar included a baked potato (we'd never been to this location, and at ours, we have to order the salad bake at the register/window), and the girl told me to ask my waitress and she'd tell me if I could have a potato or not. When we got to the table, the tea was sweet tea, and the soda had ice in it. The food options are somewhat limited, and the ones there are hit or miss. The meatloaf had good flavor, but it wasn't a loaf--it was just a pan of crumbled beef topped with the tomato glaze. The potato bar has no toppings for a baked potato, but instead was set up for tacos and had these weird potato skin things on it. The pinto beans were really good, but that was the only thing anyone in our party really liked. The rotisserie chicken was described as "powdery and leathery all at the same time," and the white gravy had big chunks of dried shrimp in it (which is an allergy risk). The smoked pork chops were really tough and were cold. The cheesecake had a layer of water or oil in the bottom of each of the bowls, and the only dessert that wasn't hard or looked old was the fresh fruit and fruit/jello dishes. There was a young girl working who kept going into the corner across from our table and pouring Whiskey into her Styrofoam cup (pretty sure it was Jamisons, but 🤷‍♀️). When I was walking to the bathroom, I walked past the ice cream machine and a female worker threw her hands up at me and started yelling at someone standing beside me that I "didn't listen" and broke the ice cream machine (I hadn't touched it, not was I intending to) and was still yelling to and about after I went into the bathrooms. The bathrooms were clean, and the food bar area was also very clean, but it wasn't enough to save...

Haven't been here in a while and wanted a buffet without driving to Branson. First off, the service is great and everyone is friendly.

Unfortunately the food quality seems to be going downhill and the prices are going up. We went on a Sunday and expected weekend prices would be higher, but not this high.

The 8OZ sirloin special was the lowest steak option and it was $17.99 i believe. The basic buffet is now $16.49. The main shocker was a soda is now $3.69!

We both got the 8OZ sirloin and asked for med rare and med cooked. Both steaks were well done with no pink. The taste was not very good and we could not finish the steaks, I'm not sure if they were old or just poor quality, they were extra salty as if to cover this bad taste possibly.

The pork roast was good and enjoyable. The fried fish and hushpuppies were good but had an odd aftertaste from the cornmeal, never noticed this before.

The fried chicken I tried a leg, and it was hot and seemed fresh but not much seasoning, and it had an off taste as well. Not sure of the quality.

I used to really like eating here but unfortunately it seems to be going downhill like a lot of things. It was $47 for 2 people and that was before tipping. Hopefully things...
