Patria Y Comida — Restaurant in Harrison

My husband and I have been wanting to try this place for a while…and I’m so glad I stopped in today. From the moment I walked in, the owner and chef Clara and her husband were welcoming and warm. Clara was nice enough to let me know all of the entree options and which ones she recommended (they all sounded so good!)

I went with the steak with onions and rice and of course a Cuban sandwich! The food was absolutely delicious and the price for the quality and quantity of food is so good.

We’ll definitely be going back as this will be one of our new go-to places for lunch/dinner.

Finally in Kearney a restaurant with the right amount of “sazon”! I had what I called “la madre de los cheese burgers” (because the burger order was bigger than expected). It came with fries and for my surprise, a side of fresh romaine lettuce, onions and tomatoes was included on the order (often times cheese burgers do not include these veggies as a side).
