McDonald's — Restaurant in Harrodsburg

What has happened to customer service at McDonald’s in Harrodsburg, Kentucky

*Then off to *McDonald’s to get late lunch, HUGE mistake 😵‍💫😥 This was around 1:45 & 2:00p.m. Store was not busy at all….I was the only car in DT at the time…..placed my order, verified my order, pulled to first window to pay. I wasn’t sure if he was an employee or not due to the way he was dressed…..(guess you can dress anyway you want now days)🤷‍♀️……pull to last window to get my order….some dude in a sweatshirt hoodie, with hoodie on his head…..hands out a bag…..well, needless to say, I looked in bag…..”not my order” I handed back to him….told him what I had ordered, handed me a new bag with the correct sandwiches…asked him about my 2 UNSWEET TEAS he said “yes” they are unsweet tea, put drinks in my car, for some reason I did not believe him…..WELL, again not my drinks…..😳SWEET TEA….pulled around and blocked DT lane, still no other customers……went into store and to my surprise, what a disaster‼️lobby was filthy with food, trash on floor, tables dirty etc…..went to front counter, stood there and watched the show, no one acknowledge that I was standing there and 2 employees looked straight at me…..after saying “excuse me” twice with NO response from employees, I then decided to step behind the counter and holler out excuse me…..stop a guy walking by me (behind counter) and I told him my order was wrong and could he help me get the correct drinks, he said yeah sure, he then hollered at another guy and told him to get my drinks, why couldn’t the that first guy do it? Employee never acknowledge me or said they were sorry or to have a good day or even to kiss his ass. I finally did get my correct drinks by now my sandwiches were cold. Go figure…..I did observe behind the counter was worse than lobby….employees had personal drinks sitting everywhere behind the counter and in food prep area 😲 from Taco Bell, (I watched employee park their car and bring all drinks in, she made 2 trips from her car, so everybody got a blue drink)…..no one was in uniform nor had their hair restrained…

*MY QUESTION: where is the STORE MANAGER or SUPERVISOR or OWNER/OPERATOR of this McDonalds location?…… Please tell me this is not the normal way this store operates…..

*Employee that went to get drinks at Taco Bell should have been in lobby cleaning and tending to restroom’s…..what ever happened to clean as you go….huge hazard to slip & falls thru out the store for customers & employees…..

Sunday, I used the drive through to order a double cheeseburger and 6pc nugget happy meal for two of my kids. At the window, the girl handed me the sprite (for the happy meal) and the cup was overfilled and spilling. I reached out to grab it and the girl closed the window before I could ask for napkins. My kids were laughing their as!es off as I tried to pour the overflowing drink out to a manageable level so I could hand it off. Just then the girl opens the window and thrusts a bag out saying “have a nice day!” I grabbed the bag and pulled forward but stopped because something seemed off. Looking in the bag, I realized we were short a happy meal. Parked the car and went inside. As soon as I walk in I get yelled at that the “dining room is closed sir!” I explain that the door was unlocked and I just wanted to grab the happy meal for my daughter. She disappears for a minute and comes back with the familiar box. I mention the soda and she hands me extra napkins saying sorry bout that. Fair enough. Head home and my daughter opens the box to discover a small fry and apple slices. No nuggets. This was not as bad as last year when I asked for a double cheeseburger with LIGHT Mayo, and got in an argument with the girl who kept saying “all Mayo at McDonald’s is white Mayo! What do you want sir??” Both times they were not busy. I could understand if they were slammed but both times they were pretty light. Just avoid McDonald’s. Anywhere but McDonald’s is the better option...

Okay so to start off, My grandmother and I were just pulling in after traveling to get some milkshakes, But the line was 25-30 minutes long, A woman stormed out when we first arrived and told us not to waste our time and she said "Good luck getting your food, I've been here 20 minutes waiting and they handed to someone else" but we decided to stay anyways, We sat there and we watched about 10 or more cars pull out of line and leave, When we finally got to the menu, we waited about 8 minutes before someone finally asked us what we wanted. When we got to the window we waited another 5 or 6 minutes watching the worker talk to his girlfriend I'm assuming. Then we had to wait for our actual order and we waited another probably 10 minutes for the car in front of us to get her order. When we finally got there she handed us our milkshakes and they did not have whip cream nor a cherry on top ( Like our night) even though we seen four people get theirs before us like that.. The lady did not hand us our French fries like we ordered and when she did, they were mainly coldish warm.

I give major thumbs down and no stars to these workers nor the food, Major waste of...
