Update 6-10-23: Still very good. Stopped in on a recent motorcycle ride. An excellent place to get Chinese food in a buffet setting. All of the foods I tried were very good, even by non buffet standards. Let's be honest, buffets are generally about quantity not quality. China Moon will surprise you. All the food was fresh and food that should be crisp was crisp, not soggy from being out too long. The trays of food were full and not lacking. The only food I was disappointed in was the fried rice. It was better than the rice at other buffets, but not as good as a sit down and order restaurant. It was a little mushy. The restaurant was clean as were the bathrooms and all the employees were wearing masks. Gloves are available for those who feel more comfortable wearing them. If COVID turned you off buffets, I get it, but if you want to eat at one again, try China Moon. It is the best and cleanest Chinese buffet I've found.

China Moon is the definition of the ideal hidden gem! A small restaurant just off the road, with plenty of parking, this place has great deals and even better food! The buffet is large and has a diverse offering of Asian food, including a lot of meat and seafood option, sushi, and dessert. These are probably the best crab rangoons I've ever had, as the peanut chicken is also one of my new faves. I truly enjoyed everything I ate! There is a clean bathroom on site as well. Service is super fast and nice - they clear plates as soon as you're done. There's plenty of internal seating and the decor is tasteful and aesthetically pleasing. And to get all of this for $12/person is an incredible deal. If you're every hungry, I would 100% recommend you come here!

I feel like I might be being generous with the three stars because of the food I got the other night. I got the mooshoo chicken that's supposed to come with 6 pancakes but as you can see in the photo I grabbed from a video of me crumbling it on my mooshoo it was more like 6 pieces of wafer paper? Very strange. It's usually a favorite of mine at other chinese places but this one also smelled of urine? I've been to this place before and gotten take out from their buffet but changed things up and order meals this time. When I've gotten the buffet food it has been fine, reasonably priced and very convenient but after this last trip I don't think I will be taking any time to return.

Me and my girlfriend were threatened by staff at the Barre location. Scary stuff. This place is full of rude, mean, and inconsiderate staff that will do absolutely nothing to solve any problem. Moreover, they will only escalate any situation that you need help getting through with their "pack" mentality and their methodology of bringing the whole family out for the slightest issue.

Coming in one night around 9pm, me and my girlfriend knew that the place closed in 30 minutes and planned on being quick and courteous to the kitchen not trying to make them work any later than they had to. We asked how much the buffet was for TWO people. I was running short on cash in my pocket, and only had about 20 bucks. The older man at the front desk clearly spoke broken English and replied, $10.95. My girlfriend held up two fingers as I again repeated, "for two?. He nodded and we entered.

We had to change seats after the waitresses spoke directly over our booth for 15 minutes and stood less than 10 feet from us glaring around the room and sometimes right at us. Finally, the bill came and it was $28. As I went up to the front of the store to try and talk to the old man about what he had told us, it was clear that he spoke almost no English at all. He agreed that he had said 10.95, but after trying to talk to him it was obvious that we were getting nowhere. We kept trying to explain that he told us the price was for two people...and he continued to nod in agreement, not realizing or understandin the problem. Finally, after 5 good minutes of repeating myself and trying to use different, more clear words, he began insisting that he said that was the price for one person.

At this point another person came out of the back that spoke broken yet interpretable English. He was extremely mean and rude, and as I was trying to explain what happened, he kept accusing me that I saw the sign and didn't want to pay pointing at a sign that he said the price was on (an 8x10 piece of paper hanging in the window). I kept trying to tell him that is was a misunderstanding but he started yelling "Are you going to pay or no? I WILL call the police!" I gave them all the money I had including the change in my pockets (about 24 or 25 bucks). At this point the entire staff/family (6 or 7 people) were standing and glaring at us, arms crossed. Both me and my girlfriend were shocked and couldn't believe what was happening. The man from the back was still yelling, so after exhausting all forms of communication and not feeling safe nor wanting any confrontation with the police, we tried to leave. He followed us to the car; both of us now reasonably anxious, took a picture of my license plate and thank god we were...

Want bugs in In your food and still pay for almost the whole bill come here to eat My boyfriend And I came here to eat last night. It was moderately busy, but we got a table pretty quick that being said when we got plates, they were still soaking wet straight out of the dishwasher. (Pro tip never order water here it taste like absolute soapy water) And if you order soda, they water it down. We’ve come here on multiple occasions, and the food has been all right for what you would expect a small Chinese buffet to be definitely not top-notch but acceptable. However, this time was much worse and definitely the last straw there’s mold on the ceilings seats still have food in them. Tables are sticky silverware has food stuck to it. The chicken Was incredibly dry the rice was almost in edible The pizza looked worse than Domino’s And to top it off, we went to go get dessert and one of the workers was using power drills to drill holes in the wall for the owners little fans that she was selling that were plus over marked once we sat down to eat our dessert all of a sudden, my boyfriend noticed that there was fruit flies in with his bananas and her response and I quote was oh the fruit flies are supposed to be in there. It’s bananas. Then she wouldn’t even comp us the bill she still made us pay full price with only taking three dollars off so apparently fruit flies are worth three dollars so again, if you want bugs in your food, please come here to eat definitely never coming...

Best buffet I have been to in years! So good infact, that two nights later I went back again and it was 100% consistent! Servers were only there to seat me and then when my cup or plate were empty. They did not rush me at all and were pleasant the whole time. All of the food was fresh and tasted as it was supposed to, unlike typical buffets. There was a constant stream of employees refilling the buffet trays with fresh food my entire visit. I'm not sure where these bad reviews are coming from because the only way to have a bad visit here is to screw it up yourself. Also, if your waitress has to scoff at your tip, then you've probably found yourself in this situation many times before and you should really re-evaluate your financial situation because you probably shouldn't be going out to eat. They created take-out if you don't want to tip for the use of the restaurant and the service. Hell, even fast food restaurants in a lot of states charge an extra fee for dine in.......

Just go to this buffet........you won't be...
