For the record, the food is DELICIOUS. I would have rated it a 5 minus one thing. I ordered a lamb stuffed naan. There was no lamb. It was delicious, yes, but there was no cilantro, no lamb, no anything in it. It was as if they smothered it in the juice of the lamb. I looked! It was so disappointing to pay for something and not receive what was paid for per the menu. The words were "stuffed" not dipped or basted.

That said, the food- aside from the above fact- was worth it, the wait was short for the amount I ordered. As this was my first time eating food from here, I ordered simple things to get a feel for the place. Naan, kheema naan, veggie samosa, chicken samosa, rice, mango chutney. Oh, the mango chutney had a strong apple cider vinegar taste and smell. Very different than I am used to. I will not order that again, but the other sauces they provide as part of every order I assume...oh my goodness, FANTASTIC. Spice, flavor, taste- all perfectly balanced and wonderful.

I left 5 stars because it wouldn't let me leave 6. If you want to go to some guys house and get the most amazing Indian food in the North East, then go here. Prices are extremely reasonable. I asked for spicy and it was nice and hot (I like hot). My wife got the mild (she doesn't like hot) and was quite satisfied.

We got the vegetable samosa, garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, saah paneer, mango lassi, and the honey bread ball things for dessert. Everything was amazing except the naan, which was just good. Total cost was about $40!

I've been a big fan of this restaurant since it opened, after having worked personally w the chef at another location, and the attention to detail and respect he has for food is unparalleled in my years in the industry. His takeout business design is genius, and based on a safe clean and healthy concept from well before the covid era. There is no safer or tastier place to order food that I can imagine.
