Subway — Restaurant in Hartford

I've been going to this subway, sometimes a few times a week for lunch break during work on and off for almost 3 years. The food quality is mostly the same as with many other subway locations, but then again I usually order "safe" menu items, i.e. no tuna, or chicken (yikes). Be mindful of this when youre hugry and just wanna munch...are you truly eating "fresh"? Likely not so much. My complaint isn't so much with the food or prep though, as it is with the pisspoor customer service. Totally miserable high school-age kids normally barely making sandwiches with not a care, sometimes the older folks are working and they make the experience much easier to digest (no pun intended). There's this one kid in particular that I've called out on two different occasions, due to his wannabe badassery and questionable attitude. Both times I got rude responses, no surprise there. I now find it really hard to take anyone there seriously, and have given up on the pleasentries myself. This particular subway now pretty much sucks all around, and I rarely go in anymore. Such a shame, but I see little hope of long term improvement, so a change of staff would...

I am a big Subway fan. We stopped here on our drive expecting the usual great experience, but that didn't happen. The staff was inattentive at best, my bread was stale, they didn't have the usual toppings and after ordering baked potato soup was given Cream of Broccoli. The facility was older and looked dirty. The worst part of all was after completing our order, one of the attendants grabbed a book and sat ON A COUNTER that was used to serve food and coffee to read. Clearly not interested in helping guests or concerned about...

The manager and the blue haired person working there today were HORRIBLY rude. Not just to us, but to everyone who came while we sat eating there. They didn't listen to what we or others wanted on our sandwiches and were more concerned with their Christmas display. Christmas spirit is great but take care of your customers first and drop the snarky attitudes!
