I'll NEVER be ordering from this location again! On February 8th, 2020 the website was not working correctly and not possessing my order (which is usually no big deal) so i decided to call in my order. The gentleman who picked up the phone was at 8:11pm was absolutely disgusting to me. When trying to place my order I requested "5.99 Mix or Match" deal that has been widely advertised; however, the gentleman with whom I was speaking with stated: "in order to get that deal you will have to place your order through the website." I explained to him that the website was not processing my transaction and thus the reason for my call. He continued to exclaim that the deal i requested was exclusive to the website so he would not process my order as requested. I caved because the pregnant misses and I were very hungry and it was getting late. The total to over $40 which wasn't terrible so I told him I'd pay by debit card. He proceeded to tell me that I will have to present my debit card and ID to the delivery driver upon delivery to ensure that the card wasn't stolen. Needless to say that I was completely dumbfounded by his request so I asked why. He said there have been issues with stolen credit cards in the Hartford area and its just to make sure. I asked if that was company policy, he said no, that just something a lot of businesses do with Hartford residents. At this point I am flabbergasted, confused, and hurt by his statements! I have lived in the same neighborhood for many years and have ordered from this location 20+ times, and not once from this location or any other restaurant that I frequent has EVER done this! I felt singled out and personally attacked by his actions! Not in all my years have I been subjected to something like this! Despite living in Hartford, I live in a very lovely neighborhood on the west end where the neighbors are super friendly and always stop and say hello. This is completely unacceptable! I have managed restaurants for many years and if this gentleman worked for me, he would NOT have a job in the morning. Not a single customer of mine should ever feel alienated by a member of my staff; no matter who you are, where you're from, or what you like. Maybe I'm just old-fashioned, but I believe that a business' greatest asset or liability is their reputation; so I ask the people in charge, is this what you want...

I’ve been ordering for years and was never once asked to identify myself with ID.
The man said he would not give me my food unless I showed him Credit Card and ID. I said sure I’ll show him it. I had no problem with that. But when I asked him why did I need too show him, if dominoes in the past have never asked to see my credentials. He caught an attitude with me and began talking over me repeatedly saying “sir sir sir sir I need to see your ID and Credit Card”.
My thing is on the Dominoes App it doesn’t even ask for the Card Holder Name , it only ask for the Card. I have screenshots to prove it. Further more on the app only the person receiving the delivery is listed along with the address that they are receiving it.
So it was very suspicious to me that a Dominoes Employee is requesting sensitive information from me and catches an attitude when I’m just asking for clarification.
The problem wasn’t identifying myself, the problem was why I had to identify myself. I’ve ordered from dominoes for years, never not once had this experience.
But after this one exchange, I never want to eat dominoes again and I’m going to encourage everyone I know to stay away from it

After the exchange, this man goes on to cancel my order WITHOUT MY PERMISSION and tells me the store is closed. It’s 12:53am, dominoes closes at 2am and 3am at some other locations.
Now I have to wait 3-5 business days for my money and I can’t get my food all because I just wanted simple clarification on why I was being asked to identify myself with this specific driver, when the hundreds of dominoes orders that I’ve had over the course of my entire life never not once asked for anything from me.
It could of been very simple, he could of said “sir the policy has changed”, “we detect suspicious activity in your order”. But he simply just kept saying he needed to see it and that was it.
From a consumer perspective, screw that dominoes and that employee is terrible. He got me so angry to the point where I fell out of character because he was cancelling my order without my permission AFTER MY MONEY WAS ALREADY TAKEN...

It went to the wrong address about y mins from. My home. The driver refused to deliver once I told him he was at the 0wrong place. No problem, I wanted to make sure I did not get charged so I called the store. The man who answered the phone was rudeness personified. Did not respond when I was speaking then hung up in my ear. I called back to get his name as j wanted to make sure I knew who I spoke to in case of any issues. He yelled at me "I DONT WANT TO TALK TO YOU, IM BUSY".I told him I am calling for because I have a concern and he should be more professional. In typical Jndian fashion, he continued to be rude and hung up agzin.. Had I known who were making those pizzas I would not have ordered. I will never order pizza from Domino's again. And I better get my refund or I'm calling corporate. I'm a Retired Veteran and save your hate for yourself.
