This stop was not intentional. It happened to be on the route to another place I was going. Anytime I pass a Cathedral I have to stop in to see it. This Cathedral has had an addition recently with meeting spaces and handicap accessibility. The church itself has a very 1970s feel based on the giant stained glass windows and architecture. The side altars are adorned with life-size mosaics of the saint it is dedicated to. A beautiful place to experience the quiet and to say a prayer.

I like to attend mass at different CT Catholic churches, and this was #39. There is street parking and a lot behind the cathedral. The exterior is modern and 'cold', but the interior will take your breath away. Open, spacious, and modern but traditional in that it had the stained glass. It's all very grand and absolutely gorgeous. The ceiling lights are shaped like stars, and they look 3-D. This is one of the most amazing churches I've seen to date.

A beautiful place to worship. Outside is nice but the inside is where the view is. However you definitely don't want to be seated on the side, as there is a strong chance of sitting behind, or on the side of a pillar. Overall it is definitely a nice place for worship. The parking is limited, but during special occasions, like confirmations, they are able to use the parking lots of other churches and buildings nearby.

This is a magnificent cathedral which dates back to 1876. Unfortunately, the original church burned to the ground in 1956. The new cathedral has a contemporary design with a hint of the traditional. The church seats 1750 people and is a testimonial to faith as well as human genius and artistry.

St. Joseph's Cathedral is absolutely gorgeous!!! The mass was beautiful, as was the angelic singing that surrounds you here. I loved the whole experience, the bishop gave a perfect service, the music was perfection, and it smells so cleansing. At every turn, my family and I were "wowed"!

I came here for my daughter’s Confirmation. Beautiful building and architecture. Large parking lot on the side of the church. Was towards the middle and was able to hear everything with their sound system.
