Grab and Go Deli — Restaurant in Hartford

This place is AMAZING!!! So clean and so fresh! The ingredients in their deli were cut and presented so beautifully that they didn’t even look real! They have a small grocery/convenience store selection (think gas station amount) and it’s all the right stuff! Pricing is fair too, if you went to a chain or corporate place you’re going to pay more for less food and inferior quality.

I ordered the 12-piece chicken tenders, they’re full size tenders not the skimpy ones. OMG if these aren’t the freshest, crispiest, juiciest, most well-seasoned pieces of chicken I’ve had in my life! They have your typical selection of dipping sauces upon request.

Whew, I could go on and on but I’m holding you up from putting your shoes on and heading down.

First off, let me start by saying this is a very clean and well establish food vendor with great customer service. The only concerns that I had with them was the way I ordered my food and the proportions that was given to me. I ordered the corn beef and it did not look like they gave me corned beef, but fried salami, also on their menu they present it as that they sell buffalo wings, but in actuality they only serve traditional fried chicken wings with buffalo sauce on the side so if you go here. And you’re going to get buffalo wings this is false. so if you do order wings, just be aware because they give it to you in a white paper bag with foil so you won’t know...

Extremely clean and well-organized with some different offerings other similar joints might not have. Excellent customer service that is very quick and direct. Overall pretty similar to some New York style Delis, or the Delis you see also in Fairfield County.

I really love the Bacon Egg and Cheese, and the Chicken Over Rice Halaal Platter. With the platter, you get like a really decent amount of food for only $10, it's very filling and tasty, and they always make it for you very quickly.
