Pulled into the drive-through line at 8pm and got my order around 830pm. First of they had 3 cars parked waiting for food. Then, when they finally got their food (all 3 vehicles), all 3 of them had to get out of their cars because their food wasn't right. When it was my turn, I got to the window with 2 of my daughters. The 2 women that were at the window had the nastiest attitudes I've ever seen. My daughters were like dad do you feel their vibe i was like yes i do and it wasnt a good vibe. Then, when I checked my receipt, they didn't charge me for a small chili, which I ordered before my strawberry frosty. I asked the lady to just charge me for it since I was already paying for the rest of my order she said she couldn't do it with an attitude and that i had to either go inside and order or go back to the drive through line. Why!? I'm haven't paid for my order. Just add it on. Again, she said she couldn't, which I then replied with, well I ordered the small Chili before the strawberry frosty so how can u have the frosty on the screen and not the Chili. My daughters then said, "Hey dad, they must have selective hearing. She then takes a deep breath as if to say to herself this mfer really pissing me off, and finally adds the Chili to the order. Usually I wouldn't go to this wendys location, since everytime I do go it's always an issue, but since my kids and wife wanted it and they are 3 minutes away from where I live it is convenient. We sat behind someone at the drive thru for a solid 10 minutes before someone from inside finally helped them sand they were able to pull up. Literally a few teenagers walked into the store and were able to walk out before we were able to get our order in.
We finally get our order in... Simple order. 2 of the new cheddar cheeseburgers, a Jr frosty, 2 ice waters and a craft lemonade... They gave us the waters and lemonade and then told us to pull off to the side... Then proceeded to take 3 more orders behind us... All of who got their food and took off before we got ours. They came over with someone else's order, someone else's that was placed after ours and had a few bags... But we had next to nothing and they couldn't get it done in a timely fashion.
Let's not forget about the quality... After waiting all that time you'd think the food would have been freshly made, correct?! Well you'd be entirely wrong. Our 2 burgers tasted old and dried out. We were looking forward to these and it was just a huge let down all around. I don't live in the immediate area, so I'll be frequenting other locations more often... But those location needs to get their act together. I should not have had to wait that long to place an order then finally get the order. Something...
Read moreUpdate: There seems to have been a change in management here because the service and speed has improved immensely since my previous review. A line that I waited on for 45+ now is taking 20 ( a reasonable amount for the length of the line). Upgrading to 4 stars because this change has been notable and consistent :)
Old: Worst Wendy ever. I'm a regular. I just put in a mobile order and checked it in. Waited 15 to leave for the restaurant. Got there with 20 minutes passed. Waited for 30 minutes for them to even ask my order as they serve other walk-ins and dozens of cars through drive through. Fast food? Try slow as hell for no reason, with no customer service, no apology. Nothing. It's honestly sad to watch how dis-coordinated it is behind the counter. If it wasn't for the location this place would go out of business for shear terrible service hands down. Go to literally of the any places around unless you wanna stand there for an hour.
